Because Hur felt that a jury would be sympathetic the pleadings of a forgetful old man. Joe lacked willfulness because he isn’t capable of willfully doing much of anything. He did mention on tape to his ghost writer that he had classified documents, so he did know he had them and made no attempt to turn them over until he was asked about them. For that reason, I don’t agree with Hur’s reasoning, however, I can’t deny that a jury may be easily persuaded that Biden simply isn’t capable of such a willful act due to his mental state.

Even if Knight lacks the funds itself, the company should be able to tap the collateral Mr. Trump pledged.
In an interview this week, Mr. Hankey said that Mr. Trump pledged $175 million in cash as collateral that was being handled by a brokerage firm. Mr. Trump, in the meantime, is able to earn interest on the money.
