Trump's appeal

You hit upon a good point: Democrats make no secret of their contempt for lower-income, working class people. (Biden couldn’t even make it to East Palestine after the toxic train wreck, because…..eh…..bunch of white rednecks.)

And, the Democrats are so arrogant, and think so little of people in this SES, that they don’t even credit them with realizing how much they’re looked down upon.

It's...fucking weird that the dems can be openly hostile to "dumb white guys" and then be suprised and upset that those same people don't support them politically.

They actually seem to think of the "poors" as... some form of serf, that are meant to take abuse, and thank them for it.

Plenty of his policies are crafted to serve our interests and I fully expect the economic numbers to show some movement in short order.

Such as polices to reduce the labor pool, or to make imports more expensive.
Expensive imports will raise prices everywhere. How will that help unemployed factory workers?

Don't you think you already own enough Chinese-made shit?

Democrats support policies that help the working poor. These include raising the minimum wage, strengthening labor unions, assuring safe working environments, and universal health care. Where are Republicans on this?

Actually, it depends how poor, and what race. It’s the white working poor - those with jobs that don’t pay much - whom they mock as “morons in flyover country” or “white trash.” But ghetto blacks with a 72% out-of-wedlock rate on generations of welfare? They defend them and attack anyone who thinks they should be held accountable.

Chinese made goods are not ****. I intend to buy some more today.
So you’re buying from foreign Communists instead of from an American company employing factory workers HERE, and then complain that Trump is hurting our factory workers?

Think about the hypocrisy of your thread, and your own admission.

By getting them called back to work.

Hector12.

You have a vision of the future for this country. Clearly it does not include much factory workers.

OK fine. The factory workers have anotther vision.

This is a completely valid and legitimate conflict of interests.

Why can you not respect them on this?

Why do you feel a need to put a negative spin on it, and then to punch down, at people just trying to survive?

Well, the blacks, especially those blacks, tend to vote for the dems, so, that's "different".

I agree with the Republicans on the issues of race, crime, and immigration. I agree with the Democrats on the issues of progressive taxation, environmental protection, and protection of safe working environments.

The Democrat Party I really like is the one that existed from the inauguration of Franklin Roosevelt to the assassination of John Kennedy - three decades in all.

I think the civil rights legislation and the War on Poverty were well intended mistakes.

I never vote Republican because they cut taxes for the rich and use the growth in the national debt caused by those tax cuts to cut spending programs that benefit working class and middle class people.

THAT is indeed the key difference. Welfare blacks vote for Dems, and working-class whites vote for Rs.

None of that explains your need to put down the working class whites who want to keep their factory jobs.

NOr the contempt you feel for them.

What is your socio-economic status? Cause I get a real PUNCHING DOWN, feel from you, when you did that.

The NEED, of libs, to have to pretend that their political opponents are bad people, is really ugly.
