TrumpGas™

Its a hell of a lot lower than when democrats were in charge. Gas prices were DOUBLE what they are now, and those increases werent based on Iran threatening ships in the Straits of Hormuz. Biden crushed the oil industry and we all paid a heavy price for it, literally. :cuckoo:
This is such bullshit. Under Biden the US produced more energy than in its entire history.

The only reason you have been seeing slightly lower gas prices over the past 6 months is because of Trump's corrupt dealings with the Saudis and the gulf Arabs. They keep the price of gas low for a while by increasing production, and that helps Trump look like his policies made prices go down.

I wouldn't have went. That applies to whoever was president. Just one lie after another and I would have better things to do.

And now back to the quickly rising fuel prices......oil up again today. Plus $100 soon?

AI Overview

"I wouldn't have went" is
not considered grammatically correct in standard English. The proper phrase is "I wouldn't have gone". The construction requires the past participle ("gone") after "have," not the simple past tense ("went").

Another government school grad.

English is not my first language.

Seems you don't have a first language.

In a most basic understanding of government, Trump asked all who agree that “One of the great things about the State of the Union is how it gives Americans the chance to see clearly what their representatives really believe,” Trump said during his Tuesday night remarks in the House chamber. “So tonight, I’m inviting every legislator to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support: The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”

The officials of the once great Democrat Party declined to stand.

Why didn't they stand???????

Would you have stood????

/-----/ "You have no foundational beliefs."
You posted "What about Ukraine?" That's a non specific question. I asked for clarification, and you deflected by attacking my beliefs.
BTW, I do support Ukraine over Russia, although both sides want the fight to continue.
You wrote that war opponents can let "people live in slavery while a bloodthirsty dictator runs rampant" with respect to Iran.

I asked you where you stood on Ukraine.

/-----/ I support Ukraine since they were invaded by Putin, but the midget comedian has turned down an offer from Trump that would stop Putin in his tracks. Plus there is the missing $$$$ that is unaccounted for.
Iran is cut and dry.

Trump's offer was "surrender to Russia" and when they didnt he pulled back all support. Youre just looking for reasons not to support Ukraine because Trump doesnt like them. You have no moral foundation. You basically find out what Trump likes and then do that. Are you a grown man or not? Who acts like that. "goooooooo Trumpy.... my hero!". So beta.. so weird.

/----/ In a debate, when an opponent shifts from discussing policy to making personal attacks (ad hominem), it’s usually a sign they’ve run out of factual ammunition.

Characterizing a push for a ceasefire as 'surrender' is a false binary. The goal is to stop the loss of life and prevent further territorial erosion. Calling for a diplomatic resolution isn't 'anti-Ukraine'; it's a recognition that a war of attrition has diminishing returns for the Ukrainian people.

My moral foundation is based on realism and national interest, not emotional rhetoric. It is morally consistent to prioritize American taxpayer resources and global stability over an open-ended conflict with no clear exit strategy. Labeling disagreement as a 'lack of morals' is just a way to avoid discussing the actual costs of the war.

Resorting to name-calling like 'beta' or 'weird' suggests you’re more interested in internet slang than the complexities of geopolitics. If you have a factual argument for why current funding levels are sustainable or how they lead to a total victory, I’m happy to hear it. Otherwise, the personal attacks just prove you’ve run out of points to make.

Meh. I offered a grounded critique of your Trump messiah worship. The fact that you think ridding the world of the Iranian leadership is imperative but that Putin's world incursion in Ukraine isnt imperative just highlights the flimsiness of your values. i didnt name call. I categorized your behavior. You have no moral foundation other than Trump is always right. Youre in a lot of company of worshippers. I dont get it.

/——/ I never said Trump is always right. No one is. I worship God. I support Trump. I never said Putin’s incursion was not imperative. Putin is a throwback to the USSR. You’re now reduced to false accusations. You have nothing.
