I haven't found the percentage higher summer formula fuel usually costs, nor have I done calculations for diesel which is a factor in what food costs since the saying is it's not farm-to-table, it's farm-to-truck-to-table. Buy local at a farmstand or farmers' market? If you've done. so, you know that produce and meat are more expensive since they don't get the breaks chains can with their large purchases.
