My point is that anyone with a D or an R on the ballot in November will have a good shot of winning--almost a coin flip's chance these days.

In 1992 Ross Perot got 20% of the vote. Too bad 20% of the population at that time was too stupid to know how presidents are elected. There is no legal way an independent candidate will be president even if he wins 100% of the vote or wins all 50 states.

We don't vote for candidates for president, we vote for parties. Then electors from the winning party choose the president. To my knowledge the democratic party and the Republican party is the only party organized sufficiently to have electors. Do you know of any third party that chooses their electors at district conventions?

I attended the North Carolina 3rd District Republican Convention where an elector was selected. I know how this process works. I didn't even hear of a third party having a North Carolina 3rd District Convention. By the way, pretend I didn't say this.

Trump can't win the general election after he incited an insurrection at the Capitol based on lies. Most Americans know there was no fraud and Trump is lying, and the majority will never vote for him.

He didn’t really “win“ 81 million votes. Zuckerberg’s army was able to collect ballots in the swing states, where they were needed.

Biden needs the center, too, to win - and he won’t get it this time. Can you imagine him trying to debate with Trump?
