Trump suggested his supporters want him to serve more than 2 terms as president, which would violate the 22nd Amendment of the Constitution

You know, when Obama was coming towards the end of his second term, many conservatives on this board were saying that Obama was going to try to stay in office past his time.

Obama never did, nor did he ever suggest such a thing in public. If he had, I've never heard about it. The only people who said Obama was going to stay over his term were conservatives who were trying to scare people.

Now? We have an actual Republican president, who isn't even through his first term, who is publicly saying that he might stay.

"Extra term limits"? This is a joke isn't it? If it wasn't for democrat icon FDR who served 3 1/3 terms we wouldn't have needed a 22 Amendment. Does anybody except those afflicted with TDS and maybe "Business Insider" really think that the President would or could violate the 22 Amendment?

What his supporters want and what will happen are two very different things.

Trump needs to get reelected before he starts planning constitutional amendments or violations.
