I cut steel on piledriving jobs all over northern CA. I had a machine shop and cut steel daily for the business. Take torches to the border and see what happens.

It is not the steel, it is the tanks carrying Oxygen and Acetylene that is the problem for the illegal aliens. I never measured sheet pile for thickness, but my guess is about 3/8 inch thick.

I'll talk you through it. start with a scarfing tip so the slag will blow outside of what you are cutting. Cut all the way around the steel twice. Cut from top cut to bottom cut on each side and remove plates. Bust concrete with a sledge hammer. Cut exposed rebar with torch. 30 minutes and you have removed enough fence to walk through.
