Ok
A) Greenlanders aren’t “dying on waitlists” anymore than any other similarly isolated territory of a developed nation
Denmark is probably better than most developed nations, when it comes to waitlists to see soecialists. but people still spend up to one hundred and eighty days waiting for that to happen.
But not better than the united states. our Alaskan natives may die because they have a heart attack and cannot make it to a medical care facility quick enough. But that is true in urban areas in the lower forty eight also. And everywhere in the world.
Native Greenlanders specifically do not have defibrillators in their villages. If you claim that never leads to deaths, you'll have to show some evidence for that counter-intuitive claim.
Native Alaskans do not die because they are put on long waiting lists to see an oncologist after their primary care, physician suspects cancer.
B) Greenland has like 50k people total, so trumps medical ship “saving a thousand Greenlanders’ lives” is pretty much a statistical impossibility.
Thank you for fact checking my hypothetical.
If Donald Trump's hospital ship saves one hundred greenlanders, i'm sure the trump deranged will figure out a way to spend as a negative for Donald Trump.
C) “hospital ships” like this are not literal hospitals with the same resources an actual hospital in New York or Copenhagen would have. They’re floating emergency rooms that travel to third world countries or developed countries hit by disaster that don’t have access to urgent care
Not true for the Navy's two hospital ships. if you are interested in knowing facts instead of guessing, feel free too.Google, "what facilities are on a us navy hospital ship?"
Greenland already has those basic resources that the ship provides. No Greenlander is going to have their cancer treatment managed by some ER doc on a floating medical ship. They’re still going to have to go to Denmark for any treatments beyond that scope
Perhaps not treatment, but they could get a cancer diagnosis there. In your research, you will learn that these hospital ships have radiology and a laboratory.
If Denmark's socialist system then denies them treatment because they do not wait the required one hundred and eighty days, like every other Greenlander, the United States can look at what humanitarian action to take then.
So can the voters of Greenland.
I'm amazed at the rhetorical gymnastics just to avoid the possibility that trump might get credit for something good.
