Trump to send Hospital Ship to Greenland

It will get there, dont worry. Or are you going to quote Trump setting a deadline for himself?

When it does a certain number of Greenlanders will choose to get care there or else zero will. I don't see why this has Dems in such a panic and fury.
So, you never get tired of Trump's blatant lies?
AND...........Greenlanders NEVER requested a hospital ship.
I have to wonder if this is feigned anger to avoid talking about the kack of candidates to defeat Trump's successor in 2028.
I wonder if this is ANOTHER distraction from the Trump files.

How in the world could you know that Greenlanders never requested a hospital ship?

My guess is that they reached out to the white house about their inability to get adequate medical care and the white house thought of the hospital ship.

Greenlanders, meaning the people of Greenland, not their government overlords who are Danish citizens.

But that is just my guess.I don't know that that is what happened. You seem pretty sure. How did you verify this statement of fact?

How about…. They are on the way
Are you claiming that you have never stopped any place on the way to someplace else?

You know, like stopped at the weed dispensary on your way to the
trans-friendly senior singles group?

That is the Prime Minister, Jens-Frederick Niekson, a Danish citizen. He is supposedly half Inuit, but apparently his father did not see fit to include any Inuit in his name.

I'm sure he has no health care worries as PM. it is a shame that he is willing to turn down help for Greenlanders not so fortunate because of his ego.

Luckily, the president does not need the current prime minister's permission to send a navy ship to greenland. There are treaties from before that prime minister was born giving the U.S. military all but complete access to the island.

Hopefully, he will not try to prevent green landers from taking advantage of this united states' generosity. Sadly, countries with socialized medicine have been known to prevent their people from seeking lifesaving care elsewhere. Even for children.

The military hasn’t received any orders to send a ship.

When is it leaving?

Greenlanders have no healthcare worries.
The US does.
Why doesn't the orange retard worry about AMERICANS healthcare.

So, they can be broken.
Prime example, TRUMP.
Hopefully, he will not try to prevent green landers from taking advantage of this united states' generosity. Sadly, countries with socialized medicine have been known to prevent their people from seeking lifesaving care elsewhere. Even for children.
LOL.
America's for profit healthcare does the same thing but worse.

Greenlanders have no healthcare worries.
I have posted on this thread several times information about the long waiting times for both green landers and danish citizens.

You can keep ignoring it, but that won't make it untrue.

He does. he is trying to get rid of illegal aliens that clog our emergency rooms and deplete our medicaid funds.
So, they can be broken.
Prime example, TRUMP.
If a Greenland prime minister were foolish enough to try to break the agreements for the U.S. military to defend greenland the US would simply ignore the prime minister. Because the agreements are legally binding.

What would the prime minister do then?
LOL.
America's for profit healthcare does the same thing but worse.
What?

For profit, health care forbids people from leaving the united states for medical care?

Examples?

"according to U.S. officials,"

Don't be so gullible, McFly.

Yes people are dying. but that does not change the physics of maritime travel. A ship only moves so fast.
I was just thinking, perhaps we’ve come up with some form of travel which is quicker than an unnecessarily large ocean liner.

Can you think of any options?

LOL.
Sure, that's the issue.
Keep drinking Trump's kool-aid.
nd deplete our medicaid funds.

Legally binding?
For the Trump regime?
What would the prime minister do then?
What any other country would do.

WTF?
Examples?
WOW.

Oh yes. Obamacare sucks.

But as far as I know, it does not forbid people from leaving the united states to get treatment unavailable to them here.

Is it quicker and easier to bring people to a hospital or a hospital to the people?
A small number of people: bring people to a hospital. A thousand people: bring a hospital to the people. especially if it is a pre existing mobile hospital that might otherwise be running practice training missions that don't actually help anyone.

If a Greenlander is told by their primary care physician "I think you have cancer" or "I think your child has leukemia" or "your teenager may have cystic fibrosis," that Greenlander is going to want to get to a specialist as fast as possible.

If the Danish socialized medicine system tells them to take a number, they might be glad to have the option of being flown to an American hospital ship.

But if they are not, and nobody wants to
Visit the hospital ship it can turn around and go back home. Or maybe anchor near Cuba and encourage Cubans to come to the hospital. Unless that socialized system prevents them from leaving for medical care.

But it’s very illogical. It’s going to take many days to sail to Greenland and it’s only one ship which means it’s going to take many weeks and months to reach every patient who is “dying”.

Not to mention the fact that it costs millions per week to operate the vessel.

If you were really concerned about the people of Greenland, and people were really dying from lack of care, the ship isn’t the solution. You’d just fly them out.

Let's say it takes thirty days to get there and another 30 days to see the patients who are closest to actually kicking the bucket. both of those are worst case scenarios, of course.

Under the danish socialized healthcare there is a "guarantee"to see a specialist within ninety days. That time limit is often exceeded with no recourse for the patient.

So that is thirty days sooner for the worst case scenario.
Not to mention the fact that it costs millions per week to operate the vessel.
Do you put a price tag on all lives?Or only the lives of brown skinned native peoples?
If you were really concerned about the people of Greenland, and people were really dying from lack of care, the ship isn’t the solution. You’d just fly them out.
For some extreme cases that would certainly be justified. of course. Those crying about the ship would cry even harder about airplanes. the more effective one of donald trump's ideas is the louder the trump deranged cry about it.

But not airlifts for all of them, because they would just run into the clogged emergency rooms caused by joe biden's la invitacion to illegal aliens.
