It’s been around since the 1950sI thought we just established HHS as a federal agency
I don’t really care what we think the “left” would say. Just do what’s right. And if he did that, the left would still say he stopped it because he "hates gay people".
I guess I dont understand the issue here. The program ran out of money but the organization is still being funded. They themselves have said the help is still there just not through that program.
So you have no clue if this LGBT hotline solves a real problem or is judt another tax funded sop to a minority group. You tell me… if you’re trying to make a point then just make it and back it up.
or . . . They are closet tranny chasers looking for a conversation with a husky voiced "woman."The important thing that I see is that over 2000 people a day are reaching out to a suicide crisis hotline for help.
Would a conservative Christian with a counselor's license be welcome as a volunteer? My hope is that we have the best people possible to receive those calls and hopefully fees upset so people don’t kill themselves
Eliminating redundancy and waste. No one will be denied support if they call 988. More "Trump Flakes" for the goldfish.I don’t really care what we think the “left” would say. Just do what’s right.
The issue is a political move to stick it to the woke at the detriment of real people who are in need
I’ve heard statements from those involved in providing care that this moveBut "trump" didnt do it. It was a pilot program that had exceeded its funding, so they just merged it with the other number.
the reasons we're stated, I've already said those reasons are not true, then I dont feel removing the program was necessary. They are saying, however, that the reasons are true. Have you seen anything to the contrary?
This is what the CEO of a company that handles a large amount of the calls had to say. Trumps track record for honesty isn’t great. It’s not even good Sonia more prone to believe people on the ground over what his press people are saying .But that not true, their website even states that they will still get the same expert and professional care. Its not being reduced to a lesser service, its the same service, they just have to use the same line everyone else does.
The service wasnt cut, they can still get the same help, according to their website.
How do you know if any hotline solves a real problem? So you have no clue if this LGBT hotline solves a real problem or is judt another tax funded sop to a minority group.
It is a political move to save millions of dollars in waste and abuseI don’t really care what we think the “left” would say. Just do what’s right.

That’s bullshit: out of all the trillions our government spends I don’t see millions for mental healthcare as a necessity. The costs of dealing with the after effects of suicide and mental health issues probably far outweighed the costs of prevention and support effortsIt is a political move to save millions of dollars in waste and abuse
33 million was the cost of the tech feature of that phone line. It was what was budgeted into training and expanding the support availability of operators to help those in need. It was an action made to improve response quality for a group that had overwhelming needYeah he did option 3 cost 33 million
