Trump to announce $12 billion in aid to farmers

Some question what's happening regards to farmers less happy.
SO Promise them a kick back out of all our pockets?
Its not just one party doing it.
NO POLITICAL PARTY IS WORKING towards ANY attempts at more Honest government.
We been dying for quite a long while

Absolutely we support regime change there

I get you don’t
ColonelAngus in 2022 was asking why Biden was doing regime change. Lets see if today he is okay with Trump invading "brown people's countries". Watch, suddenly the details will matter to you Republicans. You will point out the differences. Doesn't matter. Seems like suddenly Republicans are back to REGIME CHANGE like Bush was.

Trump is taking good care of farmers. This is great for our country.
Trump can't come out and publicly admit that his idiotic blanket tariffs have severely tanked the markets for these farmer's produce so now the "band-aid" he is providing is a socialistic bailout that he hopes will whitewash over the damage so he won't get blamed for his self inflicted catastrophe.
Typical Trump...create a crisis and then fool his MAGAt cultists into believing he solved it. Rinse and repeat.

How dare Trump help Americans. American money is only for foreign interests.

Listen to yourself. Remember when Biden was passing stimulus bills, forgiving student loans, spending money on infrastructure.....

How dare Biden help Americans. American money is only for gold plating the White House, building ballrooms, hosting lavish parties the night the government got shut down, retrofitting a plane he will take with him in 3 years, golf, putting name on everything, changing the dod to dow cost $1 billion dollars alone.

When is Trump going to eliminate the income tax like he promised? Where is his healthcare plan?

Tariffs are paying the farmers not taxes

That’s cause the only regime xiden changed was given the Taliban Afghanistan

LOL --- of course. It's very different when your douchebag does it.

It's incredible how they can't see that tariff / tax is exactly the same thing. Semantics.

This is socialism, right? Harris was rightly mocked for her idea to give every home buyer $25,000 towards the purchase of a new home. How is this distribution of wealth any different? Surely, MAGA will condemn this (crickets on social media). This administration created this problem and now they want to use our tax dollars to Band-Aid the wound.

The announcement comes after China recently started buying U.S. soybeans again after a tense trade war halted the purchases in a blow to American farmers.

China still hasn’t actually bought any soybeans yet.

The dems did the same thing with the "individual mandate". They could see it then. Now they go colorblind.

No New Wars. Didn't Trump run on that?

Yes Clinton, Obama and Biden did Presidential shit and you second guessed every step. You ran on that you would be non interventionists. America first. Stay out of foreign affairs.

He's not surprising me when he invades another sovereign nation. I mean I wouldn't do it if I were him. China is watching. This is why Russia invaded Ukraine because Bush did it in Iraq. What can we say we would be hypocrites? We no longer hold the moral high ground.

Republicans didn't learn their lesson in Iraq. You break it, you bought it. And maybe that's what Trump wants. For American corporations to take over Venezuela. Who will pay for it and who will benefit? Oh you and Trump will tell us we will benefit from it but I have a feeling we will only pay.

Pay attention. No one said tariffs weren't causing farmers a problem. The statement pointed out that farms have been somewhat socialized for quite some time, in response to someone who indicated that farm socialization is a Trump thing. It's quite obvious that when we have come to depend on foreign imports and some reorganizing is an order, there needs to be something to help provide stasis while that takes place. Government subsidies to farms have averaged 17.6B dollars a year from 1933 to 2024. Trump's injection is on the low side and Trump's tariffs certainly aren't as damaging as some major crises of the past.
Most of the damage from Trump's economically illiterate tariffs is still on the horizon.

Trump's injection tonight is on top of subsidies, which exists to stabilize the market. His tariffs destroyed their market, and now -- for the second time in 7 years and for exactly the same, preventable, idiotic reason-- we have to bailout our farmers.

Kind of a good point. Making everyone buy healthcare or an unjust tariff on all goods. It's the kind of stuff that made us revolt from England and have a tea party.

I would have been okay with it if the cost was $100 a month to have healthcare. If everyone just had to buy the minimum and the min wasn't $300 a month. That's what they charged me 11 years ago. Ridiculous. I wasn't making shit and that's what I had to pay?

And what was the penalty for not having it? You just didn't get your income tax return money. They took it out of that before sending you your refund? Something like that. It wasn't that big of a penalty for not having healthcare.

Tooche.
