Freedom of the press does include things you don't want to hear, and the legal remedy if they falsely impinge on yer person is a lawsuit for financial damages, not an illegal, unconstitutional edict from a President who thinks he is a king...
True... it does. But it should ALSO include things YOU don't want to hear.

If the press coverage of President Trump is not equal in positive and negative stories to every other President we've had, that's a problem that needs to be investigated.

Broadcast television is required to foster the public interest... not just half of the public.

Why investigate their freedom? Do you want pigs coming by yer house to make sure you are aligned with whoever is in power?

Wanna show me the law that dictates this?

broadcast television stations are legally mandated by the Communications Act of 1934 to serve the "public interest, convenience, and necessity," a standard interpreted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to mean that broadcasters must cater to the needs of the entire community, not just a segment of it, by providing diverse educational, cultural, and emergency-related content.

Fox News isn't publicly broadcast, nor is it required to maintain FCC standards.

If ABC stations no longer wish to abide by the regulations they voluntarily agreed to maintain as part of their nearly free license to broadcast over public airwaves and become private Cable Channels only... they are completely free to relinquish those lucrative over the air frequencies their government license grants them.

They should go private, and then all you catch is the Emergency Broadcasting Stations. That is why the government funds the broadcasting industry, because they are the affiliates of the EMS.

I'm good with that. Another public station will be happy to abide by the few regulation the FCC enforces.

Well here is Sinclair doing the same as FOX.

You don't have the right to broadcasts distorted news over public airwaves.
Sure you do. Rights aren't granted by the government.

Now, you might argue that government should have the power to violate that right. But I'd argue you're wrong.

The freaking left tried to put Trump in prison on frivolous charges, they impeached him on the basis of faked documents, they invaded his home and went through his wife's underwear drawer allegedly looking for classified documents and when that didn't work they set him up for two assassination attempts. Get some freaking perspective lefties and stop whining about guys like Kimmel who were losing money for their employers by spouting hatred.

You thought WRONG.
Like who?
