You have no real proof why Bob Iger ended Kimmel. Was it submission to Carr and Trump, or a business decision because affiliates were dropping Kimmel? The Nexstar/Tegna merger had no real impact on Disney. But a hit to the Disney "brand" was unacceptable.

Experts say it was obviously a business decision. From my link:
"We strongly believe that Disney CEO Bob Iger and Disney were concerned about real, lasting damage to the Disney brand, regardless of any executives’ personal political positions.

The Nexstar/Tegna merger has zero effect on Disney.
If Nexstar and Tegna stay separare or merge has zero effect on Disney's bottom line.
But, if Kimmel's vicious lies against MAGA causes a Disney boycott, picture Bud Light, Disney would be crushed.
Bob Iger made an easy business decision to can Kimmel, just like Walt Disney would have done.

Trump had nothing to do with the Bob Iger decision to can Kimmel.
Kimmel fucked himself when he told vicious lies about Kirk's murderer.
Bob Iger couldn't chance a Disney boycott like hit Bud Light from the MAGA folks.

“I have read someplace that the networks were 97% against me, again, 97% negative, and yet I won and easily, all 7 swing states,” Trump told reporters, referring to his 2024 election win.

“They give me only bad publicity, press. I mean, they’re getting a license,” Trump said, according to audio from a press gaggle aboard Air Force One provided by the White House.

“I would think maybe their license should be taken away,” Trump said.

The president said that the decision “will be up to Brendan Carr,” the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission.
