My point was that I would have very much liked to have bought a new one, but they are too expensive now, thanks to tariffs.

Repair parts were cheaper, so I got another few years out of the one I have.

I find that it is Chinese who keep you confused. I don't have that problem Joe. So did you use American parts or Chinese parts to please those you surround yourself with?

No, I used Chinese parts because that's what Amazon sent me.

And the parts were cheaper than the whole grill.

Um, no, the problem is that $500 because $100 of added expense due to the government screwing the working class is wrong.

The BBQ shouldn't cost me more than $400 - the cost to manufacture it, import it, and the distributor and retailer getting their cuts. They all did something material to get that BBQ in the store for me to buy it.

The government did nothing to provide that product. Sweet Evil Jesus, I remember when Conservatives hated taxes and government interference.

If the store owner had put an extra $100 on the BBQ because he wants to save up to buy a new car, would you buy it then?

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump appeared to lay out his demands — and concessions — for the meeting between US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and their Chinese counterparts. Trump said China must import more US goods, and in return, he believes the United States should lower its 145% tariff on most Chinese goods to 80%.

“CHINA SHOULD OPEN UP ITS MARKET TO USA — WOULD BE SO GOOD FOR THEM!!! CLOSED MARKETS DON’T WORK ANYMORE!!!,” Trump posted.

They have no even met in Switzerland yet and trump is caving. Amazing! He screwed the world economy up and then backs down when things begin getting rough. As always, trump is just a blustering coward. He bullies and speaks like he is strong, but we know he is insecure and afraid. He is demonstrating The Art of the Squeal.

The market jumped 1000 points yesterday.
