Your lord a master does not have authority for overruling Governers on this issue.
Okay, now please explain how Trump can be blamed for something he's not in charge with?
Sure. He didnāt CLEARLY and FORCEFULLY address the virus until LONG AFTER IT WAS TOO LATE.
He forced governors to lead. He could have issued his presidential recommendation to stay home nationwide. But he didnāt. His standard operating procedure is to āsee what happensā and then refuse to accept responsibility.
******* moron.
He declared "
public health emergency" on January 31, one day after CDC confirmed the first US case of human to human transmission.
How's that too late and what's not clear about that?
After that....for months after that....he downplayed the seriousness of the virus. We STILL have states who have not been pressured by him into establishing stay at home orders.
Heās not been a leader. Heās been an opportunist. Thatās because he is an opportunist.
You lefties are funny. Some of you are saying Trump don't have power over Governors, and the others are saying, Trump should pressure Governors. If he does one thing, half of you will scream how he doesn't have power to do it, and if he doesn't, the other half will scream why isn't he doing it. You can't have it both ways.
Second, He doesn't have to do anything more than he did so far. He issued guidelines based on expert's recommendations. It's up to Governors to do the rest, they have power to do everything constitutional boundaries. So stop bitching about Trump, it's not his responsibility to dictate states what they should do within their borders.
Yes, we still have Governors that do not have "stay-at-home" orders. Rightfully so. They evaluate daily situation in their states and their decision so far is that people constitutional rights are worth more than risk they're facing. So, stop bitching about them, because it's not your concern. What South Dakota is doing is NOT of concern of New York, and vice versa.
