trump says the quiet part out loud. Again.

Afghanistan?

Also the US is NATO. We’ve invaded

Afghanistan
Iraq
Syria
Libya

In recent memory.

Do you want to discuss all the countries we have fomented the over throw their governments? Ukraine is on that list.

Does it hurt to be this stupid?
The US is a member of NATO. Why do you hate America so much?

Russia views nato as a threat. We don’t get to decide what other countries view as existential threats to their sovereignty. We’ve known Russia has viewed Ukraine entry into NATO as the reddest of red lines. They told us this when Bush was President. The head of NATO bragged that Russia told NATO if they put in writing that Ukraine wouldn’t be admitted to NATO that Russia wouldn’t invade and that he turned them down. Russia was wrong for invading Ukraine but we knowingly played a role in pushing them to it. A major role.
Again, what threat does NATO pose to Russia, other than preventing them from invading other countries? If I wanted to invade other countries, I wouldn't want them around either. That's kinda like a crook not wanting cops nearby

Not wanting the US involved in this war isnt "support for Putin".

But using “not wanting the US involved in this war” directly serves Moscow’s interest.

Besides, we never heard that from Trumpster until their fuhrer supported the Russian invasion.

it wasn’t until then that Trump media started yelling about imaginary WWIII, and Trumpsters started siding with the Russians.

Can someone explain how “supporting Putin” is any different or worse than supporting Zelensky, or Xi of China?

BJ Clinton can give China “most favored nation status” and the left praises him.
They all currently support Zelensky, who is a dictator that cancelled elections and remained in office after his term expired.

So supporting dictators is okay, if they are approved by the left.

The only real reason the left hate Putin is because he is white, and doesn’t support LGBTQ nonsense.

Incoherent, irrelevant, nonsense.

And? It also serves the interests of the US. We can’t make decisions based solely on whether it might help Moscow or not.

What are you talking about? Trump wasn’t President when Russia invaded and I don’t recall him supporting the invasion when it did happen. Do you have a link to Trump or anyone for that matter really who actually supported Russia’s invasion?

Trump media? Again not wanting the US embroiled in yet another proxy war into which we dump endless supplies of money isn’t “support for Russia”.

In other words you can’t explain why supporting Dictator Zelensky is okay, and doing massive trade with China is okay, but Russia is bad….
Of course I can explain why supporting Ukraine is necessary. If Russia is allowed to invade Ukraine, he will be emboldened to invade other countries. The stability of the area is very important for the entire world which includes the US.

Massive trade between the US and China has existed for a long time. Without cheep TVs made in China, we would be paying twice the price. China has been willing to discuss trade inequalities long before trump's silly tariff fit. All he did was piss off our closest allies.

Sure, we need more manufacturing here, but trump's way won't work. How long do you think it takes to build enough factories to supply all our needs for just one item? How much more for everything we get from China?

Putin is a thug who only cares about himself, much like trump. Why support someone who has already shown he will continue to break international law?

What way will work then? The idiotic method our dear “leaders” have been doing the last 6 decades that has decimated our manufacturing?

Or perhaps explain why it was okay for Kiev to bomb ethnic Russians that wanted independence.

I guess that type of democracy is frowned upon by you. Just keep dropping bombs on them until they love the corrupt Kiev puppet regime.

Putin cares more about ethnic Russians and Christians getting killed by Kiev than you do.

We supported overthrowing the democratically elected government of Ukraine in 2013-2014. Isn’t that “breaking international law”?

Putin started the war, just like Hamas started their war

How do you think the US would respond to a group using militant actions to succeed?

I just told you the US supported overthrowing the Ukrainian government using militant actions. You support it.

Is overthrowing sitting President by force acceptable or not? The ethnic Russians protested the illegal insurrection and coup, and for that, Kiev dropped bombs on their heads.

The war started in Ukraine back in 2014. A coup ousted the sitting President and the US helped install a puppet regime. This led to a civil war in Ukraine, long before “Russia invaded”.

Here come the excuses…

What international law did that support break?
