OK, I don't recall his words verbatim but he was speaking at a rally, I believe, and Laura Ingraham (on "The Angle" last night) showed a clip.

Then she had Josh Hawley (R-MO) on and I couldn't watch the whole thing but Hawley says the Rs need to fight the deep state (again, he may not have used those exact terms)

In any case.. Ingraham asked the Q we all have been asking:

Why do Rs promise to do this and that (again, my words) and then when they get elected....

disappointment ensues
