The war didn’t end but the last American soldier to be killed in that war, died in July, 1953.

He would have to have been at least 18 at the time, so had he lived, he’d be 83. His parents would be over 100 years old.

The National Alliance of Families has been lobbying the US Government for three decades to get serious about the return of remains from N. Korea. Veterans made the return of Korean MIA's in their Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Rally in 1988 and every year since. President Clinton's administration negotiated the return of remains. President Bush followed up with the program and during the administrations of both obtained the remains of over 220 soldiers before the program was suspended in 2005. It was started back up in 2010 and more remains were returned in 2010, 2012 and 2015 under President Obama.

Trump's biggest lie about missing Korean war soldiers is the one where he tries to take responsibility and credit for negotiating the return of our Korean War mia's.
