An epidemic of typhoid fever has started among AFU soldiers in the Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson region. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

As the publication emphasizes, the dynamics of the spread of the disease is extremely negative. On June 7 alone it was diagnosed in 26 military men. And three days later, the number of infected more than doubled. As a result, now at least 62 people are sick with typhoid fever.

"As of June 10, among the personnel of the Ukrainian army units stationed in Kherson and the region, mainly the 123rd separate brigade of territorial defense and the 34th regiment of the national guard of Ukraine, 62 cases of typhoid fever have been registered, of which there are already three fatalities", - writes RIA Novosti.

It is emphasized that 12 soldiers of the AFU are in serious condition. Another 31 - in a state of moderate severity. The source of the disease was probably water from local water supply systems.

Meanwhile, the AFU faced another serious problem. Soldiers with psychological traumas become dangerous for their fellow soldiers.
