Trump right again... We destroyed our economy for virtually nothing...

Nothing got ruined. A little downturn and everyone is running around like crazy people and the sky is falling and on and on. In the scheme of things big whoopty do. Things always work out due only to the greatest workforce in the world as we have in spite of what any POTUS does.

Then Joe Biddum was installed, instead.
Well, next to Trump, Joe IS a firm steady hand.
After four years and two with complete control of the gov, where’s the wall ? You guys are staggeringly gullible for any promise made by an orange racist.

John's Hopkins says the Dimwinger lockdowns only helped two tenths of one percent.

:oops8:
The lockdowns under Trump.
“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on a podcast episode that aired Friday one of his biggest regrets in office was not speaking "much louder" against the Trump Administration's calls for lockdowns in the early days of the pandemic, with the comments coming just days after former President Donald Trump appeared to label DeSantis "gutless."

At least now you’re admitting you
make up shit.
Get an education, Moron.

The US did succeed at flattening the curve — at least at first. Businesses closed and most states issued stay-at-home orders; later research concluded those lockdown measures helped prevent tens of millions of Covid-19 cases.

But America failed to take advantage of that window to ramp up its virus testing and tracing capabilities, and states quickly faced intense pressure to relax their policies to alleviate the economic costs of the shutdowns. Reopening began earlier than public health experts believed it should. The political will to impose new lockdowns had evaporated by the time cases spiked again.
Hmmmm..........................who to believe......and opinion piece from a lefty hack at far left Vox, or Johns Hopkins.

It's a tough call.

I clicked on the link. Said nothing about any lockdown, Dumbass.

Are you ever not a dipshit?

that John Hopkins study isn't peer reviews, and they aren't backing it up.

you must be referring to the one from Steve Hanke, Here is what they're saying about it

"the authors did not engage in good faith with the epidemiological literature."

the authors "systematically excluded from consideration any study based on the science of disease transmission, meaning that the only studies looked at in the analysis are studies using the methods of economics."

also...
the limitations of using a narrow time frame for the analysis, which means key elements of disease transmission are not priced into the overview, including that later lockdowns are less effective than earlier lockdowns, and that lives are not saved "immediately," because there is a lag from infection to death.

"This study intentionally excludes all studies rooted in epidemiology—the science of disease."

"[The study] looks at a tiny slice of the pandemic, there have been many lockdowns since globally with far better data," Bhatt concluded

Hearkening back to the OP....an the ruining of the economy.

Those Candadian truckers are the ones currently damaging our economy....and theirs.

They are villians in this. Not victims.

Is your leftist hack’s OPINION “peer reviewed” by scientists?

I actually always liked Trump. I knew all along he would be the best candidate to guarentee that the Republicans wouldn't win a 2nd term and the democrats would take over as planned. The other republican candidates I felt hesititant about, but I knew Trump with his antics and his uncanny ability to tick people off would pretty much sink any chance the republicans had of winning a re-election so I was tickled pink when he won over other republicans. I thought to myself this is the man who will guarentee the Democrats get elected after him and Joe Biden as president. And it worked out just as I was hoping it would. Trump is awesome he helped Biden get in the white house !
Immigrants Who Supported Bin Laden

Millions of enfranchised jihadi sleeper cells, funded with OPEC loot, got Bi-den elected.

Nope. Like all Humpers, you think it’s about “ you and I “. You couldn’t be more wrong. It’s you Humpers vs the entire medical science community including every one of 3400 hospitals and research facilities. You guys are so FOS thinking you know more then them, it’s hilarious. Biden and Fauci echo the recommendations of the cdc which works with hospitals and research facilities. You’re babes in the woods. You live in a world of made up sht.
If It Quacks Like a Doc, It's a Quack

Americans have the best medical opinions that increased government funding can buy. MD stands for Mercenary Dependency.

Pre-Planned PanDEMic

Your defenders of bribed opinion beg the question by assuming that their Cronyvirus is contagious. But it is obviously an immune-deficiency problem and no more contagious than cancer is. Colin Powell lost his immunity because of Scorch and Burn chemotherapy.

It's in the air everywhere. The Masquerade and Socialist Distancing didn't help those few who are not immune; the rest of America needed no restrictions at all.

Postmodern scientists believe in the mindless Stone Age superstition than natural air is the safest air. But "Clean Air" is only safe for viruses, as history before auto emissions sanitized modern air proved by plague after plague after plague.

You are one strange science illiterate. I think scientists are more capable of evaluating WTF is in the air more then you.
