Trump Reportedly Humiliated After Chinese President Snubs Him At The Airport

Stop that nonsense with the font.
What nonsense?

Perhaps, but the humiliation was public. Face is important in China, so as far as the Chinese public is concerned, Xi is the man.

By refusing to greet 47 at the airport, Xi showed his contempt for him. Saving Face is very important in Asian Culture. 47 lost face. Other Asian will see this and make note of it.

Hey, with smelly shit filled diapers would you want to meet him?
Yeah, China took the underwater drone belonging to the US and hacked it. They asked Obama WTF are you gonna do about it? Obama STFU.

Lol...still betting that S. Korea, Taiwan, and Japan will buddy up with China? :auiqs.jpg:

“Donald Trump has arrived in China to find that President Xi did NOT greet him at the airport,” reads a statement from the progressive advocacy platform Call To Activism, run by digital strategist and political influencer Joe Gallina.

“MAGA is in spin mode heralding the ‘red carpet treatment,’ but the visit is already at a rocky start. Instead of a presidential welcome, Trump was greeted by US Ambassador to China David Perdue; Xi’s vice president, Han Zheng; China’s Ambassador to Washington Xie Feng; and Executive Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ma Zhaoxu.”

President Xi to busy to meet with one of his inferiors getting off of a plane. Apparently all of the jerk off CEO's that were with him didn't warrant the attention either.
FFS, I don't recall Trump meeting King Charles at the airport.

No worries. Vance will yell at the Chinese Ambassador in front of the cameras on his next visit to the WH.

An upgrade as opposed to 2017.

And of course they didn't make Trump exit the rear of the plane as they did with Obama in 2016.

President Trump arrived in Beijing on Wednesday without a tarmac greeting from Chinese President Xi Jinping — but the apparent snub was actually an “upgrade” from his last welcome in 2017, according to an expert.

“It’s actually quite revealing from a protocol perspective,” said Isabelle Vladoiu, founder of the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights.

“Xi Jinping did not personally greet Trump at the airport in 2017 either, but this time Beijing noticeably upgraded the reception by sending Vice President Han Zheng along with both ambassadors and senior foreign affairs officials.”

Trump’s arrival nine years ago — the most recent visit to China by an American president — featured a lower-level official appearing to welcome him, said Vladoiu, who has worked with many international organizations and authored the book “Business Etiquette Secrets.”

...

In 2017, Trump was greeted by Yang Jiechi who was a senior official and state councilor but not as high rank as the vice president. China is signaling therefore that this visit carries greater strategic and geopolitical weight than before.”

...

The president’s red-carpet welcome also featured a military band and honor guard, as well as 300 youths singing a welcome message and waving American and Chinese flags in time to the band’s music.

If Trump walked into my store right now? I'd give him the middle finger and tell him to get the hell out. No frauds or conmen allowed.

What a bunch of fricken idiots.

Chinese President Xi Jinping's decision not to greet Donald Trump at the airport is consistent with established Chinese diplomatic protocol, which traditionally dictates that the Chinese head of state does not welcome visiting foreign leaders on the tarmac.

Well, to be fair, Trump did not go to the airport to personally greet King Charles when he landed from the UK neither. Protocol and honor are one thing, but having your very highest official come greet you personally is an unusual honor not often meted out, So I don't read too much into this.

Having the VP come greet you signals to me that China places great significance to this visit.

But to be sure, I think it will be a mistake for Trump if he goes into meeting with Xi and acts too bullish and headstrong and too fast. Protocol, restraint, decorum and demeanor will be the order of the day.

Xi actually went to college here in the USA and I understand speaks english very well.

I expect things will not really get going much until at least 8PM tonight and thereafter, as that would be around 8AM Thursday morning Beijing time, after a good night's rest.

He should flip them the bird and get back on the plane and come home. They're criminal scum and aren't going to ever keep their word on anything anyway.
