No it isn't, they want to have decent jobs and a secure border. His strongest supporters care far more about civil liberties, they do NOT want to become like Europe and have speech laws, Lawfare etc.

Trump experienced it himself. G-d spared his life and Trump KNOWS he has a mission now and he was put to the greatest of tests when they used lawfare against him.

If he supports transparency and civil liberties, cleans up government waste and abuse, he will have a great amount of latitude to apply tariffs, call out allies and enemies alike, make global deals and yes, even call to expand the U.S empire. THAT is how important Americans cherish Due Process and their Constitution.

In fact, many of the acts occurring in Europe and other allied countries contributed greatly to Trumps popularity in November Im sure. They trust him to not go down the path Europe and others have gone.

They didn't think about whether their actions would be popular or not, and I frankly think they don't care. I don't even think they care about their own vulnerable House members. Their plan is to maximize the power of the Executive Branch. I don't think Republicans have quite figured that out yet. They are expendable to the MAGA White House.
