If I were you I'd be more worried about vulnerable Democrats jumping ship to support Trump's policies than any GOP members doing the same thing. Mitch McConnell is retiring. Good move by Mitch because I don't think he would have won his next primary race. If DOGE keeps finding wasteful spending there are moderate Democrats who are going to have no choice but to come out and support what Musk is doing. The MAGA party has spent the last 4 years thinking about the first 100 days and how to maximize their power. They didn't think about whether their actions would be popular or not, and I frankly think they don't care. I don't even think they care about their own vulnerable House members. Their plan is to maximize the power of the Executive Branch. I don't think Republicans have quite figured that out yet. They are expendable to the MAGA White House.

If this sounds crazy, if the idea that they could literally accept the House switching parties and simply bank on having all the hard power and maximizing its use, that's because it is crazy. But that's where we're at in 2025. The next 4 years are going to be an authoritarian power grab. One final test of America's constitution and political mechanisms, to see if they can keep a president from becoming a dictator.

Here is the real kicker, if not for the massive inflation, open borders which allowed in millions of people illegally, and the massive spending and waste, Trump wouldn't be able to do what he is.

Add multiple wars and hundreds of thousands dead and without question whoever was running the last four years in the U.S are quite responsible for the counter-action.

No one in media cared. No global leaders cared as they wanted the same cash grab while China and Russia expanded.


Perhaps people should be more objective and honest instead of always playing for their own benefit.

Inflation was written into the mix 12 months ago and all experts were warning of Stagflation , not just inflation .
