You are a legend in your own tiny mind. It is not up to Trump rather Melania utilizes spousal privilege.
However, where the cause of action grows out of a personal injury or wrong done by one spouse to the other there is no just reason for preventing the victim-spouse from testifying. In such a case, the need to preserve marital harmony is no longer compelling; presumably the wrong or injury has already disrupted such harmony. It is for these reasons the spousal privilege does not apply where the cause of action grows out of a personal wrong or injury done by one spouse to the other. This exception was carved out for the benefit of the victim-spouse who wishes to testify regarding such a wrong or injury. The statutory exception to the spousal privilege is a permissive one. It allows the victim-spouse to testify against the defendant-spouse if the victim so desires.
Spousal privilege means the right to not disclose confidential marital communications. The spousal privilege applies to any testimony of a spouse without the consent of the other so long as the

"If the victim chooses", and I am pretty sure adultery with a porn star while you are pregnant qualifies as a wrong or an injury.
And your irrelevant claim is hysterically ignorant. Again, let's go real slow.
Trump could be charged with a felony if it is shown that he paid Stormy Daniels, and let's not forget, Karen McDougal, to silence them because of the election.
Trump's lawyers have thrown up a possible defense, that the payment had nothing to do with the election. Instead, Trump paid the hush money to keep Melania from finding out.
Rather or not Melania knew about the affair, PRIOR TO THE PAYMENT, is certainly relevant.
This is about the defamation of, silencing of, and shouting down of women.

And finally, yes, I can predict a plea deal for a host of reasons. First, Trump doesn't want to play the card his lawyers have proposed. And hell, falsifying business records is an A class misdemeanor in New York. Sure, he could get a year at Riker's, but come on. With a plea he will just have to throw some money around.
Second, the felony is a difficult case to win. The prosecutor would probably take a plea deal.
The reality is that it is a big risk for Trump to buck up, refuse to plead on the misdemeanor, and roll the dice with a jury trial on the felony charges, especially in New York. Not to mention the fact that the trial would be a circus highlighting Trump's affair with Daniels, which in case you missed it on Truth Social, he pretty much confessed to the affair on Tuesday.
You are a troll, plain and simple. I mean some Trump supporters here get their information from clickbait sites like PJ Media. You don't get any information. You haven't spent two minutes looking into this whole fiasco, the Grand Jury investigation, the invitation for Trump to testify, his posts on Truth Social and Daniels response on Twitter. The sum of your reading is what you read on the back of the cereal box your Mom gives you for breakfast before playschool. And in true troll form, you hurl insults, scream "no" like a three year old pitching a tantrum, and then pat yourself on the back and claim victory.

But it doesn’t matter, anyway. Her prospective testimony would still be relevant to absolutely no material issue.
I can lead you (the jackass) to water but I cannot make you think.

Trump cannot invoke the martial privilege FOR MELANIA. It is her choice, and her choice alone.

LOL! So, I have to wonder, does Trump get the irony of his calling his former lawyer a "sleazebag'? I mean, after all, Cohen was Trump's sleazebag..errr...lawyer..for many years, right? Did he not actually go to prison for lying on Trump's behalf and at Trump's request?
Former President Donald Trump is decidedly not happy that his former attorney has spent the week talking to a grand jury in New York.
Writing on his Truth Social platform, the former president raged that longtime "fixer" Michael Cohen went before a grand jury this week and spilled details about the alleged hush money scheme to pay off adult film star Stormy Daniels in the weeks leading up to the 2016 presidential election.
Trump also lobbed in personal insults at Cohen for good measure.
"Does anybody believe that SleazeBag disbarred lawyer Michael Cohen went before a Grand Jury yesterday, and did little but talk about it today?" Trump wrote. "You’re not allowed to do that, just like in Georgia where the Juror was severely admonished for 'talking.' Cohen has no credibility at any level - A Total Loser!"
The reason Cohen is a problematic witness for prosecutors is that he went to jail in part for perjuring himself on behalf of Trump and at Trump's behest.
Reporting from earlier on Thursday from The Guardian's Hugo Lowell claimed that Trump's current lawyers also visited prosecutors in New York this week in an effort to talk them out of indicting their client. According to Lowell, the attorneys argued to Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg that Trump would have made the hush-money payments to Daniels even if he weren't running for president, as they were simply intended to save trouble with his marriage to Melania Trump.
I love how the left called Cohen every name in the book and said Cohen was a rampant liar and yet if he says something against Trump all of a sudden he's the most trusted man in America.

And you just keep parroting this non story instead of focusing attention on Biden and the democrats dumpster fire. Bragg is doing nothing but vying for his 15 min. of fame. How about $120B of your tax dollars wasted on Ukraine? A war on domestic energy? Inflation at 50 year highs? SMFH.

We know Cohen is a liar. So, if the allegedly special counsel decides to put him on the stand at a trial, if there is one, then cross examination of Cohen would be a blast.
The famous question will be “were you lying then or are you lying now?” It’s a great question when the cross examining attorney almost doesn’t care what the “witness” replies.
Cohen was convicted for carrying out Trump's illegal instructions of fraud and campaign finance violations not for lying. Your guy lies about everything including how people cried in the court house the other day. You really are a sucker.
