And I don't believe for a minute that the left cares much about our personal safety. If they did they would be condemning the tens of thousands or more bad actors that are coming in amidst the migrant invasion Biden invited to come here. Actually we do because States pass one unconstitutional gun law after another after another. That's their game. They know it takes years to get these unconstitutional laws overturned, and then they just pass another. Meanwhile we are stripped of our rights by unconstitutional state gun laws.

National reciprocity is necessary when driving across state lines.

It's only necessary when driving into certain states.

As it stands today, you can carry legally in most States, but you need to get a CCW in multiple states to do it, for example I have a CCW in 3 different States which allows me to carry legally in roughly 45 (If memory serves) States. With National Reciprocity, I'd only need a CCW in my home state to carry legally in all 50 states.

FACT! Now, I would be the first to agree with sensible gun regulations. For example gun safety courses. I want people to be safe handling firearms for their safety and others. Educating people on the legal use of guns. For example you can't just go waving your gun around in public to intimidate people.

BUT the dishonest lying anti gun crowd has made this impossible because their true goal is to BAN guns. If you give them an inch they take a mile and run amok. So we have to oppose all of their schemes and assume they are lying and being dishonest about any attempt to work together.

A little bit dated but President Trump has promised to sign a National Concealed Carry Reciprocity bill if it's placed on his desk, this is GREAT news for all of us that support the 2nd Amendment and the right to self-defense! In a nutshell such a bill would force states to honor concealed carry permits from all other states as opposed to the labyrinth we have today of getting permits from multiple states (and being unable to get CCW's in idiotic states like California) just to travel with our EDC's concealed.

And we did live in West Virginia for four months but we knew we would be there for only four months before returning home to Kansas at the time. But there were no bars in the small town where we lived so the issue never came up.

That's actually one of Trump's strengths, he hits Democrats hard and fast on multiple fronts simultaneously and they can't keep up. Before they can muster fake outrage about one issue he's already moving 3 others forward.

Well for the next four years at least we have a pro 2nd Amendment President and Congress. Their plate it awfully full because of the mess the Biden Administration is leaving things but maybe they'll have time to address some of the issues re guns that fall within the jurisdiction of the federal government.

Alas Biden or whoever is manipulating him--I don't believe for a minute that was his idea--seems determined to get us into a shooting war with Russia which could very quickly escalate into WWIII. But Putin may have his evil side but he isn't stupid. Hopefully he realizes that Trump can give both him and Zelensky a way out of that mess and will hold his punches for another couple of months.
