Unless the draft ethics report (it's not complete) is leaked the Speaker of the House just said on CNN that it won't be released to the Senate or anyone else as Gaetz is no longer a member of the House and is now a private citizen.

No, they are taken by a roll call vote in the Senate and recorded in the Congressional record. I have watched enough confirmation hearings on c-span to know they are done in open session.

Senate Rule XXXI governs nominations.

All business in the Senate is conducted in open session unless the Senate votes to close it. Some discussion about nominees may be done in closed session if it's sensitive, but the confirmation vote is always public.
