Trump orders new census that does NOT count illegal immigrants

It should never have come to this. This is a big can of worms. How do you hire enough census takers that can speak spanish and farsi? What do you do with people that falsify them, even if you can prove it? What about the people that refuse it? You think the 2020 election was a gang bang, have any idea how this would play out? All bluster, we have 30 to 40 million illegals here and absolutely no idea what to do with them. Never happen.

Your statement makes no sense to either my post or the topic. But you be you.
Don't be silly, in this sad little liberal show of extraordinary ignorance to history, court precedence, and reality itself you loons spew talking points as 'facts'. You take a snippet of an amendment, ignore the rest and rely on people being too stupid to dispute your 'proof'.

Because they were members of sovereign nations residing on reservations within the US.

That was resolved in 1924.

Birthright citizenship can only be resolved with a new amendment.
Natives ARE counted in the census. Someone who isn't pretending to be an Indian would know that. Not the first time you've outed yourself in that regard.

Of course Dimocrats will scream bloody murder, since they have zero respect for citizenship, and see illegals no differently than their fellow citizens.

This would be challenged in the courts immediately of course, since that's about all Dims are good for these days.

The solution would be to simply exempt the illegal data count from the equation that creates the congressional districts.

Indian territory was not considered US territory. Hence "untaxed." If they were in US territory they would be considered. Illegal immigrants are not "Indians."
Nonsense, the Louisiana Purchase did not distinguish Indian territory separate from the whole. Look at the legislation that created the reservations, that tells a different story.

That was after the Constitution was written.

You are mentally unstable. I never said they were not counted in the census. We had been talking about the past.

So Congress can determine who is counted and who isn't.
No...The Constitution set the conditions, tax-paying vs non-tax paying Indian.
Congress changed the status on most non-tax paying Indians to tax-paying, thus mandating that they be counted for purposes of apportionment.
If you want to say that that was Congress choosing who was counted..sure, I guess, it was a by-product.
Was it the intent of the Act...hell no. The intent of the act was to regularize the status of Native Americans in 1924.
As a consequence, they paid federal income tax..and were mandated to be counted.

Nobody, at the time, gave a rat's ass about redistricting and apportionment.

The native American example is a bit of a one-off anyway...since their special status WAS recognized by the Constitution.
