Trump orders homeless evictions in DC

Sure it is. When I was earning that, I went on luxurious international vacations, went to the theater regularly, and ate out in upscale restaurants. That’s hardly lower-middle class.

You have a very skewed perception of reality.
Where does a $75,000 salary put one, then?

Straight middle-class.

No wonder people are wary of hiring libtards. They think if they’re not paid $100,000 right out of college, they’re being exploited.

Its nothing close to "affluent". Not even sniffing affluent. 2 young married 29 year olds with no kids each making 130,000 is decent. As long as they dont have a kid.
Let me guess, they have the entertainment max packages, top of the line smart phones, Uber out most nights.

No. You do. You actually think 130,000 is something affluent today. With the cost of housing, healthcare, food, transportation, insurance, the "american dream" is dying. Face the facts.

Where does the middle class begin and end?

I imagine 'when I was earning that' was a few years/decades back.

Just another entitled leftist. ^^^

Nope. But you will tell us the declining birthrate is because young people want that stuff right?

So who is in the middle class? Broadly, Pew Research Center defines middle-class households as making two-thirds to double America's median income. That adds up to an income range of about $30,000 to $90,000 for single Americans in 2020 dollars. But there are other ways out there that the middle class could be defined, as seen in a Brookings analysis of 12 definitions — including Pew's.

A single American making $30,000 to roughly $90,000 every year is middle-income, according to Pew. A household of two would have to earn around $42,000 to $127,000 to qualify.

Really, these days a smart phone has to be top of the line or it may as well be a flip top. I can easily see how work pressure could drive a working couple to Uber eat.

We really need to go back to the days where families lived in a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house of 1200 feet, vacations were a rental a few blocks from the beach, and dinners out were at Olive Garden for birthdays - and everyone was happy with their middle-class life.

Now, if they can’t go to Morton’s, take a ski week at Vail, and live in a 5-bedroom, 4-bath house of 4,000 square feet, they cry poverty.

Trump shows what a great Christian he is, along with the OP....
Christians wouldn't let other humans rot in the streets on drugs... only God hating liberals would be so misguided....

This is a sensitive subject. Some might be addicts, what about those who just lost the roof over the heads due to costs or circumstances beyond their control?

My opinion, this policy hurts him more than it helps him. No one likes seeing bullying of those with the least power in society. Build affordable housing or as far as I am concern it is a failure of government.
There are shelters... but shelters have rules... like no drugs or booze so the addicted remain on the streets voluntarily... they should be arrested and sent to treatment centers for as long as it takes for them to clean up and be drug free...

Religion is about the person, not the government. If the person dignifies what they claim is their religion, they should act as if they follow the tenets of their faith. The fact that you lack empathy doesn't make you a god.
It is not empathetic to abandon these people to the streets to die.

He's so Christlike, he will throw them in jail to save their soul.
Do you even think before you post something like that? Can you provide a single example where he has EVER done anything like that?

The Christ was very explicit in not bearing false witness against another person. To do so is not Christlike.
