How are evictions empathetic, or any different. Its just moving them some place else.It is not empathetic to abandon these people to the streets to die.
Homeless are not illegals.I'm not the one supporting illegals.
Hopefully the next place they choose is a shelter or a treatment center. How are evictions empathetic, or any different. Its just moving them some place else.

Investors... and government... it would be cheaper than what we have been doing... CA spent 250 million dollars on homelessness in 23 and 24... and it fixed nothing... and that doesn't include the costs of police and fire and paramedics that make contact with these people daily and hazmat folks cleaning up their camps... that money could go to cleaning these people up and giving them the medication and treatment they need... we pay one way or the other... unless you have a better idea...Where’s the money going to come from?
Illegals have it better than homeless veterans. That's a fact. How are evictions empathetic, or any different. Its just moving them some place else.
Homeless are not illegals.
It is the failure of government that put these people on the street. Liberal Democrats, years ago, forced the government to eject people like these from facilities that were providing mental health and other services. Said it was unreasonable to confine non violent people to mental health institutions. But since they were unable to provide for themselves they wound up as the homeless. This is a sensitive subject. Some might be addicts, what about those who just lost the roof over the heads due to costs or circumstances beyond their control?
My opinion, this policy hurts him more than it helps him. No one likes seeing bullying of those with the least power in society. Build affordable housing or as far as I am concern it is a failure of government.
Putting DC aside, homelessness is a state issue and should be dealt with as such. Leaving the problem to cities is about as stupid as one can be.
In this video a Trump supporter expresses skepticism over the long-term result of deploying federal police and NG
Why?
Because the primary reason we have homeless people living on the streets is drug addiction and/or mental health issues
They need to be locked up and forced to confront their personal problems before real change takes place
Otherwise we are just playing Whack-a-Mole
I think you mean they cant find the job they were expecting to get in some useless field of studyIn some cases, you are probably right. But if opportunity is there, then why are there so many young college grads who cannot afford homes or find jobs? And if they can't what chance or kind of job will a homeless person with issues have?
Why do you think that? Rationalization?I think you mean they cant find the job they were expecting to get in some useless field of study
Oh goodie. One field out of 10,000, and a lot of engineers will lose their jobs to AI.Engineers are in high demand
