Trump Now Gets a $1.8BN Taxpayer Slush Fund to Pay Others

He won bigly. He got a 1.8B settlement without going to court. That's a HUGE victory.

I've seen the evidence. He has a strong lawsuit. Tons of proof that lawfare was used against him and others.
You said he could reinstate his $10 billion lawsuit if his settlement is nullified. I pointed out why he wouldn't.

And what victory? The courts have shut it down for now pending judicial review, which will likely squash it.

Um, the victory was the 1.8B settlement. Just because some left-wing court came along after and cried like a baby and tried to block it, doesn't mean it wasn't a victory. There is nothing illegal about the settlement. It will EASILY survive a judicial review of any kind.

Trump is winning, BIGLY.

Getting a $1.8 Billion settlement with yourself is a HUGE victory?

That's like saying you are playing as both white and black at chess and had a HUGE victory when you won.

So Trump sued Trump's IRS for negligence caused by Trump's IRS? Is that the story you're sticking with?
Um yeah, the IRS has a duty to all tax filers, including the President.

  • The Culprit: Charles Littlejohn, a government contractor for Booz Allen Hamilton, purposely sought out IRS access to steal tax returns. He was sentenced in 2024 to five years in prison for leaking the returns of Trump and thousands of other wealthy Americans. [1, 2, 3]

  • The Disclosures: The leaks resulted in explosive reports from The New York Times (revealing Trump paid only $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017) and ProPublica (revealing tax data for thousands of the nation's wealthiest).

Why is the government fighting everyone else who sued over the leak?

And it wasn’t

They were neglect in handing over the protected information to them

They had a duty to protect it and branch it
The firm had a contractual duty to protect it. Trump the citizen, and the personal Trump Organization should have sued the Firm, who failed to protect him as the firm's contract required.

No one can sue the govt for what a Contracting firm does....those cases get dismissed....

The $100 million that the Trump organization owes in back taxes according to a long time running audit by the IRS, has been dismissed by Todd Blanche as part of the settlement...another CROOKED and illegal action....protected trump and his whole family and business from ever having an IRS audit too.

CROOKS will be CROOKS....perfect example.

26 U.S. Code § 7431 - Civil damages for unauthorized inspection or disclosure of returns and return information

They did, and the IRS has a duty to protect it too.

Why can't they sue both? I think the case against the Gov tis stronger though, private citizens and businsses aren't aware that the IRS is farming out their information to private contractors.

Why can't you? Under the Federal Torts Claim Act you certainly can.l

And audit? Those don't get "dismissed" they end. And this long time running audit should of been a long time ago, now it definately should, since it's been corrupted

His long time audit should not be dismissed. Trump OWES THAT MONEY in back taxes. He wrongly double dipped and took a write off for one of his failing Casinos, TWICE. He owes the taxes.

I remember a few years ago when he said his lawyers told him not to release his tax returns because there was an audit, and you all said he was lying....now yo uare saying the audit shouldn't end....weird

Either way, at this point it definately should since the IRS leaked his returns, it's been corrupted.

If the Govt thinks he owes back taxes send him a bill....that has nothing to do with ending the audit.

The government generally cannot be sued for a contractor’s illegal actions because of the legal doctrine of sovereign immunity, which protects the government from lawsuits unless it explicitly consents to be sued.

Under laws like the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), the government only waives this immunity for the negligent or wrongful actions of official federal employees. Because independent contractors control their own day-to-day operations and are not on the government payroll, the government is not held vicariously liable for their misconduct; instead, the legal liability falls directly on the contractor or company itself.

He wasn’t an independent contractor

He was just a contractor

Thus liable

We didn't say he was lying about this audit, we said he was lying g about his taxes not being able to be released BECAUSE of the audit..... An audit does not stop anyone from releasing their own tax information.

Are you a lawyer? No? Then how can you advice him on it?
