The Bamster DOUBLED that, spending little of it on things we really needed in the process doing a lot of damage to the country by ignoring things we DID need. This set us in a vicious cycle of subsequent presidents either adding more debt, neglect and damage, or adding more debt to fix the things they wrecked while catching up on those things still in need.

How many tens of billions of dollars did Biden or Bammy get back for us from DOGE? ZERO. And who fought Trump on every nickel of fraud, corruption and waste that DOGE found? Demoshits.

I do not adhere to any party's talking points. I have not lived in the US full time since 2018 and am less than 2 years from getting my 2nd passport so I can travel without the stigma of being an American.

The debt was 36.2T when Trump took office and now sits at 38.4T in less than 10 months.

It is a joke to blame one party or the other, and this does not even take into account who is controlling Congress.

The US did not get to 122% GDP to Debt ratio because of one party, it has been a joint effort.

You obviously didn't read what I wrote well. I was not blaming one party, I said both parties have added to our debt but for /DIFFERENT/ reasons.

Rule of thumb that is accurate.

Credit the last president for the budget that lasts after his leaving office until the end of September. The first year he is in office, Trumps budget started October 1, 2025, though it includes former raises by the previous president.

I wish Trump would shut his damn mouth. If there would have been someone...anyone, who would be doing the things he is doing, I would have voted for them.
