And Trump’s Tuesday morning threat that “a whole civilization will die tonight” — unless “something revolutionarily wonderful” happens in the scant hours that remain — has some fearing the worst case scenario: that the president would use nuclear weapons against Iran.

allies (does he have any), I don't think trump is sure either. The market is betting against $5 gas and the economic chaos it would cause or it would be down big today. But that implies a degree of rationality, so far absent from the decisions being made by the guy who is threatening the end of a civilization.
IMO, Don is about the last guy we want to be in a position like this. Cuz he's a sociopath. The fact that what he's going to decide is so unpredictable is evidence of that. Regrettably, in this regime, there are no adults in the room. Get your popcorn ready and stay tuned.
