Interesting claim that I haven't read the decision when the order of 05/16/2025 says what I said it said. Which was the the Trump Administration is enjoined from any further deportations under the AEA, I never they couldn't deport people using other legal means.

And yet in the order that I was using as the basis of my claim the court said:
Not only the one person as you claim, the administration is enjoined from further action against the "putative class members". That is all those held for AEA removal.

Biden honored all the court orders. There is the one that went to SCOTUS and the SCOTUS narrowly ruled about his use of the HEROS Act.
He stopped using the HEROS Act.
The SCOTUS DID NOT say there were not other methods authorized by Congress. Such as PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) which the Congress did authorize.

Nope. Lookup the SCOTUS ruling, it applied ONLY to his use of the HEROS act.
The SCOTUS never enjoined him from not forgiving any student loans under other processes authorized by Congress.
The right wing is lying if to you if you think that the SCOTUS ruled other than what I explained.

Border Agents had specific criteria in their preliminary vetting for asylum. Our loose as a goose congressional immigration laws allow the executive to determine such.
The main reason our border policy does not work, is the back up in the immigration courts that is hitting a 5 year wait time....so seekers have to be released and not detained in a cell till their court hearing.
If we would just expand and fund our immigration courts to where a qualified asylum seeker has their court date within 2 to 3 weeks, we could detain them until their hearing, never let them loose until a judge determine their fate of acceptance, and if denied, deported straight from detention back to their country.
When they arrive back home, 3 weeks after they arrived in the US, this word would get around, and discourage their fellow countrymen from making the long trip, to only be sent back immediately.... Vs. having 5 years to disappear before their court date.

Of course they can be detained in the US with access to their attorney and the courts.
No one has claimed differently.
We were talking about deportations.
