I was responding to the article about small car production possibly moving to Mexico.

Lincoln SUVs are not small cars.

Ok, so let's break it down.

Ford Trucks, plans were already in the works for a couple of years to have the plant in Ohio. Trump was not responsible for that.

Ford Small Cars, Ford is building two plants in Mexico... Ford's CEO came out and said despite tariff threats from Trump, they are still going to do it.

Lincoln plant, Trump says he talked to Ford CEO and that the plant is staying in Kentucky... he took credit for it, yet Ford had already said due to the Unions they probably wouldn't be able to close any plants, and didn't plan on doing so.

From what I can gather Ford is going to retool an existing plant and build a new one or two in Mexico that will attract a 35% Tariff with which to pay for food stamps for the needy. Why wouldn't Ford reconsider and build the Plant in the US and bypass the middle man by creating NEW JOBS in the US?? Works for me. heheheh'

There is several things going on in this thread, but I summed it up with another post that you are ignoring.

The Truck plant is staying in Ohio.

The small car plants are being built in Mexico even if Trump puts up a large tariff.

The Lincoln plant was already being kept in Kentucky... and Ford had said that because of Unions it wouldn't be closing any American plants. Trump just took credit for something that was already happening.

All these have been backed up by sources.

So now tell me how I'm not credible?
