Trump is supposedly considering something that will benefit us greatly

If you haven't noticed yet, President Trump says lots of things that might be considered "spitballing ideas". They are not worth getting hyped up about.
The TDS Cult is triggered by anything he says. It's quite funny.

You would think those ideas would at least be America first. And not funneling billions of dollars to foreigners.
Stay stupid, it's what you do best.

Where si this money supposed to come from? Oh yeah.. a printing press lolz
So glad MAGA is fiscally conservative.
Trump is gonna use the money your Cult was gonna spent on tranny comic books for Iran.

The MSM never fails to stir the pot, Home Rule isn't as independent as it sounds. Denmark needs to be satisfied.

Lol he is not going to lower anything. He just asked for half a trillion more for the pentagon that cant even pass an audit.
Yeah, having the rights to the massive natural resources for a mere $3 billion won't help us. :auiqs.jpg:

Moron.

Greenland, the largest island on Earth, possesses some of the richest stores of natural resources anywhere in the world.

These include critical raw materials – resources such as lithium and rare earth elements (REEs) that are essential for green technologies, but whose production and sustainability are highly sensitive – plus other valuable minerals and metals, and a huge volume of hydrocarbons including oil and gas.

Three of Greenland’s REE-bearing deposits, deep under the ice, may be among the world’s largest by volume, holding great potential for the manufacture of batteries and electrical components essential to the global energy transition.

The scale of Greenland’s hydrocarbon potential and mineral wealth has stimulated extensive research by Denmark and the US into the commercial and environmental viability of new activities like mining. The US Geological Survey estimates that onshore northeast Greenland (including ice-covered areas) contains around 31 billion barrels of oil-equivalent in hydrocarbons – similar to the US’s entire volume of proven crude oil reserves.

It would be hilarious if they take the bribe money and still vote no.
It would be the most embarrassing thing for a leader of a country in a long time.
So you really aren't worried about spending the money.

THREAD FAIL!

Lol maybe Greenland needs to change its name to epstein island. Bet trump would quit talking about it then.

Why would anybody but an idiot think it is up to the residents of Greenland whether or not to join the U.S.?

Spit balling should be done within the confines of the Oval Office among his unqualified staff. When you are the POTUS you should understand your words are taken seriously. But I agree trump's shouldn't.

They would get a vote.

Which would be meaningless as any deal would have to go through Denmark.
No different if Spain wanted Guam back. Do you believe all it would take is a vote by its people and the USA would have no say?

Let's get real.

Why would the USA have a say?

I likely wasn't clear. Because Guam is a territory of the USA it's residents can't just decide on their own to vote to go back to being a Spanish territory no matter how much dough they're given.

You have no ******* idea how the NATO pact, signed 80 years ago works, do you?
How it works has nothing to do with whether it’s a benefit or liability to us. What may have been useful 80 years ago has nothing to do with today.
