Trump has been a failure

The tariff threats are really starting to bite now. The tech heavy NASDAQ index is down about 6% in a week. There has been a rotation out of stocks that are likely to be affected by tariffs. All thanks to the Moron-in-Chief.
U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday he would give tariffs on Canada and Mexico, which are temporarily paused, the go-ahead, while separately threatening on Wednesday to slap a 25% levy on the European Union.

Those are some of the U.S.′ closest allies and biggest trade partners. Expect geopolitical friction and economic fallout if the tariffs are implemented.

Some of the repercussions might have begun already. Jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ended Feb. 22 rose more than expected and were the highest since early October. Big Tech companies, such as Google, Meta and Microsoft, have announced layoffs this year — while such cost-cutting measures may not have been a direct response to tariffs, they are an early sign of what things could look like when companies try to deal with increased import prices.

If that's what YOU think then Trump has been a tremendous success.
Incorrect. You see idiot, this isn't about owning the libs. Our country is in jeopardy because of this moron. If you guys don't think that firing all these people isn't going to come back to bite us in the ass you're crazy. And your tax status ain't going to change just because half the people working government jobs are gone. You're going to pay the same amount of taxes you always pay. And all the small businesses and big box stores that were used by the millions of government employees when they went shopping are going to suffer. Those government employees won't be the only people losing jobs. So keep on thinking this is a game of piss off the libs and get played like the chump you are.

Other than your cool?
Naw, I'm still Cool.
But this below......this is some weird shit dude.
Would you like to explain?

Let me give an example:
80% of the heart stents in the world are made in Ireland.

That is 90%+ of the ones used in US come from Ireland.

Why? Because setting up manufacturing plants to make stents takes years, and even when set up. Irelish plants throw away 3 stents for everyone that makes the acceptable tolerances for use. Ireland has the highest success rates in the world with some of the lowest tolerances...
Plants have been built in other countries to move out of Ireland and have failed.
Ireland have with the help of big medtech companies, ploughed money into education to produce the people who can work in the R&D and production of these stents...
That is why every manufacturer in the world has their plants in Ireland and have been developing this for decades...

So if you put a tariff on stents, US consumers are just going to have to pay for it..

US don't produce stents in any major volume...

Whatever Freak Boi.

Clear the air and define yourself.
Because this is freak shit.
Your ignorance is your problem. A few people here know what it means. You clearly do not.

Trump has been a failure thus far and the sad thing about this is that we were warned.

Some Americans had gotten so arrogant that they refused to believe that what's being done here right now could not happen. Some STILL don't even while it is happening.

Trump policy concerns send US consumer confidence plummeting to eight-month low

U.S. consumer confidence deteriorated at its sharpest pace in 3-1/2 years in February while 12-month inflation expectations surged, offering further signs that Americans were growing anxious about the potential negative economic impact of the policies of President Donald Trump's administration.

The Conference Board survey on Tuesday noted that "comments on the current administration and its policies dominated the responses." It followed on the heels of surveys last week showing steep declines in business and consumer sentiment in February. Tariffs on imports, which Trump has already imposed or is planning to, have been singled out as the major issue in almost every survey of households and businesses.

Economists said unprecedented layoffs of federal government workers were also taking a toll on consumers' psyche, which they said posed a risk to spending, the main engine of the economy.
