Yup conservatives or Trump supporters can no longer go after Obama for the Iran deal. This is what happens when the USA fights a war for Israel. Iran posed no threat at all to America. The American economy has been on an upward trajectory since 1979 when the so-called Islamic Republic government took power in Iran.

But we are where we are and this war needs to end. The straight of hormouz needs to be reopened if that takes $7 billion in Iranian money that is apparently Iranian money anyways, but has been held in Qatar. So be it…

Boy this war in Iran has turned into a fiasco. I thought the whole purpose of it was to remove the Iranian government and have regime change. It looks like the new purpose now has been to reopen the straight of hormouz which was open anyways even before the war started.

If Iran is given $6B in cash, half of that will be in the coffers of Chinese and Russian missiles and drone manufacturers. They will probably even hire Chinese companies who use slave labour to rebuild and save more cash.

Trump had a great start to his second term, he had some bite and hit China hard with tariffs. He now almost certainly realizes that his legacy is going to be attacked repeatedly post-presidency. If he is lucky, JD Vance will win and install America First and give Trump credit. It is a smaller chance today than two months ago.
