Yesterdayās Army birthday parade shouldāve been a moment of prideāa national āthank youā to the men and women whoāve worn the uniform and stood guard for our country through generations. Instead, empty seats told a different story.
Whatever the reasonsāweather, timing, politicsāit doesn't change this truth: The U.S. Army has given more to this nation than we could ever repay. Millions have served, sacrificed, and bled so we could enjoy the freedoms many now take for granted. They deserve more than silence.
Whether you agreed with every mission or not, the people in those uniforms took an oath to defend us all. They carried it out with honor. And they keep doing itāaround the world, in every time zone, every day.
I wonāt forget. And I hope that in the future, more Americans wonāt either.
From the article he linked and to which HE referenced.
The Army was planning celebrations, but not a DC parade. That was something Trump did.
If you have something showing the Army was planning on a big DC parade BEFORE the election - please share.
WW
They were not planning a military parade with tanks and flyovers in the nationās Capitol.
That is an outright and particularly dishonest lie.
Your beloved fuhrer wanted tanks in the streets (for the first time since the Bonus Army in 1932).
He said so many, many times. During his first regieme, he tried to demand it.
Working? lol. Thatās the funniest post yet.
Trump demanded a Birthday Parade and nobody came

Poor skews, how he hates that the nation celebrated the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States Army.
Such a hater of the USA is skews.
Nope, but I did attend the NO KINGS rally in Houston. I was one of those protesting peacefully, despite repubs trying to escalate it.And we still don't. By the way: weren't you part of the party that locked people in their houses, made them wear masks and stay 6 feet apart when Covid hit?
what a complete joke
True, which is why we don't have one now and haven't had one in the past, though that last adminisrtation came close.Real America supported "No Kings".
