Trump finally got his birthday parade. It didn't look like he had as much fun as he expected.

Yesterday’s Army birthday parade should’ve been a moment of pride—a national ā€œthank youā€ to the men and women who’ve worn the uniform and stood guard for our country through generations. Instead, empty seats told a different story.

Whatever the reasons—weather, timing, politics—it doesn't change this truth: The U.S. Army has given more to this nation than we could ever repay. Millions have served, sacrificed, and bled so we could enjoy the freedoms many now take for granted. They deserve more than silence.

Whether you agreed with every mission or not, the people in those uniforms took an oath to defend us all. They carried it out with honor. And they keep doing it—around the world, in every time zone, every day.

I won’t forget. And I hope that in the future, more Americans won’t either.

From the article he linked and to which HE referenced.

The Army was planning celebrations, but not a DC parade. That was something Trump did.

If you have something showing the Army was planning on a big DC parade BEFORE the election - please share.

They were not planning a military parade with tanks and flyovers in the nation’s Capitol.

That is an outright and particularly dishonest lie.

Your beloved fuhrer wanted tanks in the streets (for the first time since the Bonus Army in 1932).

He said so many, many times. During his first regieme, he tried to demand it.

The fascist parade was a HUGE flop! Don’t let the MSM spin it as anything else.

The No Kings Day protests however...

Trump demanded a Birthday Parade and nobody came

Nope, just leftoid lies.

The parade was to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States Army. Celebrations were planned before the 2024 election, in fact.

Why do you think we shouldn't celebrate the Army's 250th anniversary? Hmm?

Maybe this was all a conspiracy that George Washington planned? He knew that the Army anniversary would be on Donald Trump's birthday. Yeah, that's the ticket, it was a conspiracy by George Washington. šŸ˜

And we still don't. By the way: weren't you part of the party that locked people in their houses, made them wear masks and stay 6 feet apart when Covid hit?

what a complete joke
Nope, but I did attend the NO KINGS rally in Houston. I was one of those protesting peacefully, despite repubs trying to escalate it.

I watched the parade and my take away is that it appeared like no one wanted to be in or at this parade. The troops looked like they wanted to be somewhere else and they didn’t even bother to keep in step, Melanie looked like she was falling asleep, little Marco and Linda McMahon couldn’t keep their boredom a secret and even Trump at times looked like he couldn’t keep his eyes open.

I for the most part after watching the parade had no issue with it except it was too long.
