Well that’s not true. The closest state in 2008 was Florida which Obama still won by 200k votes.

To make a McCain win in 2008, you’d have to flip well over a million votes in specific states. It’s not even close to the 80k votes you’d have to flip for Trump.

As for the “passion”, if hatred of Trump drives people to vote for Biden, it counts just the same. Plenty of hatred for Clinton animated voters in 2016.
