The DOJ has to let this go, public opinion is the last two trials were politically motivated and this case would be seen as the same and garner more support for Trump and at this point, with Biden’s health questions and the assassination attempt on Trump, and the RNC convention this week, the Democrats have to find away to get momentum before November, the swing states are now outside the margin of error for Trump in Wisconsin and Michigan and those polls favor Trump by a little.

Perception is everything, Biden still has the underdog card that has done well for him in his career, but the Dems need to stop the momentum.

Based on what I am reading it is based on a Clarence Thomas dissent in the immunity case. It will be overturned if appealed. My guess is Cannon is eying a Trump win and a promotion to the Federal Court of Appeals or US Supreme Court. It is win for Trump for the time being.

It cannot be overturned. Enemy democrats could refile and cure the constitutional deficiencies but they won't. Much of the evidence was staged and eliminated so there's not much of a case left.
