Trump classified documents case dismissed. Jack Smith loses again.

Trump wins again. The Lawfare campaign against Trump is failing, BIGLY!

SWEET JAMBALAYA, NOS! Progs will be jumping off their roofs! First the SC rules that Trump as with all presidents DO have limited liability, the attempt to have Trump assassinated failed, and now they rip to shreds one of the biggest cases against Trump, the Smith Document case! Maybe we better put some of the folks here on suicide watch! Can't wait to see the roar of applause and standing ovation for Trump tonight at the RNC!!!

But don't be surprised if somehow, they try to bring that case back against Trump under a new prosecutor. ITMT:

No shit you dumbass that's why both are illegal.
Except it's not. This ruling doesn't affect the Washington case or Hunter Bidens case which was also handled by a special prosecutor not appointed by Congress.

Here's the link the pdf of the Court of Appeals in D.C. ruling just that in 2019 over Trump's DOJ's appointment of Robert Mueller.
Robert Mueller never actually prosecuted any cases, unlike Jack Smith. If Mueller had, then he would of had to been confirmed by the US Senate, like other US Attorneys

Doesn't matter. The question is whether his appointment was legal and courts going back to Watergate have ruled that they are.

The case will be appealed.

Another judge appointed by Trump goes for the fringe loophole

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who was appointed to the bench by Trump, ruled that Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is leading the prosecution, was unlawfully appointed to his role and did not have the authority to bring the case.

The justice department has always appointed a special council

when they appointed one for hillary clinton a couple of times. where was the outrage?

the U.S. Justice Department to appoint special counsels to handle certain politically sensitive investigations.

was there a crime yes as the judge says that he was unlawfully appointed. Meaning he could not bring the case.

sounds like a procedural error and the judge ignores the crime.

No thanks, not about to scan through 11 pages of posts for something you claim to be posted.
That's why links are blue
.. for lazy people.

This also shows that you are not genuinely curious, but just trolling.

The decision. He may ask the 11th to reconsider it.
The legal theory that Smirh was not legally appointed because only Congress can approve presidential appointees is not sound. A Special Prosecutor appointed by The Attorney General does not constitute Biden "creating another office without congressional approval," which is what these MAGAt legal eagles (including Cannon) have based this theory on.
This is beyond a gross stretch of the interpretation of the constitution's limits on presidential power, it's just plain ridiculous.
Cannon has already been overruled by The 11th Circuit before in this case and her conduct in the process has some legal scholars even questioning if she really went to law school.
She just fucked up BIG TIME.
