Trump canceled a rally in Arizona because his campaign was too broke

Rawstory is a partisan propaganda machine . Anyone with any respect to the truth stopped falling for their clickbait long, long ago.

Don't be stupid. If a story interests you it's a jumping off place for further research.

Trump's properties are encumbered by $200 million in mortgages. That's reported everywhere. He's cheated 14 cities where he's held rallies since 2019.. that's reported everywhere. Quit being a pissant.

The party reported having just more than $8 million in cash on hand at the beginning of 2024, following an underwhelming fundraising year in 2023.

By comparison, the DNC and Biden campaign has built up a massive funding base, entering 2024 with $117 million in cash on hand. The Biden campaign has broken its own grassroots funding records four months in a row.

“It’s clear that donors aren’t buying what the RNC is selling,” DNC executive director Sam Cornale wrote in a memo released Wednesday. “Between dire finances, abysmal fundraising, frantic mass firings, and a string of devastating electoral losses, the RNC is barely able to stay afloat — much less build a winning operation for the general election.”
Trump makes radical overhaul of RNC at furious pace.

Former President Trump’s new joint fundraising agreement with the Republican National Committee (RNC) will send donations to his campaign and a political action committee covering his legal bills before they go toward the party itself.

The arrangement means Republican donors may see a portion of their money go toward helping Trump pay off his exorbitant legal bills before they are used for the national party and state parties for election season.

The details of the joint fundraising agreement were first reported by The Associated Press, citing the fine print of an April 6 fundraiser invite.

The invitation states that donations to the joint fundraising committee, known as the Trump 47 Committee, will first be used to give the maximum amount allowed under Federal Election Commission (FEC) guidelines to the Trump campaign. Remaining money will go toward the maximum donation to the Save America PAC, and any money leftover will go toward the RNC and state political parties.
Trump fundraising agreement prioritizes payments to PAC covering legal fees before RNC

& this is why they are going broke:

Donald Trump’s legal bills are outpacing the money coming into one of his chief political action committees, underscoring the strain of his many courtroom battles, lawsuits and criminal charges on his presidential campaign.

Fundraising committees tied to the Republican former president have routinely relied on his trial losses and the mountain of criminal charges against him to ask his supporters for money while casting him as a victim of a political conspiracy from his Democratic rivals.

His Save America leadership PAC spent nearly $5.6m in February while raising $5m, according to campaign reports to the Federal Election Commission. The PAC ended the month with roughly $4m in the bank.

All together, Mr Trump’s legal fees through Save America reached nearly $7m in February, or the equivalent of roughly $230,000 a day.
Trump’s PAC spent $230k a day on legal fees in February, records show

& the RNC is now funneling $ to his PAC before any down ticket candidates get any.

And you believe every word right?

According to a new CNN report, Trump was planning to hold a rally in Arizona last weekend, on the same day he rallied in Ohio to support his endorsed Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, but backed out at the last minute.

"On Wednesday, Biden was in Arizona to announce $8.5 billion going toward a new Intel chip processing plant outside of Phoenix, returning to a state he visited twice in the second half of last year," reported Edward Isaac-Dovere and Kristen Holmes.

"Trump had been looking at a trip to the state – which went for Biden by just 10,457 votes in 2020 – for last weekend, the same day as his Ohio rally. But those plans were scrapped after clinching the presidential nomination, with two sources citing a desire to save money and attend a more politically advantageous event in Ohio rallying for Moreno."

That was Trump's claim. They probably canceled his rally because he doesn't pay his bills.
