Only an idiot would count on Iran being as stupid as you think they are. The U.S. thinks Iran's nuclear facilities are around 295 feet underground. They could easily be a couple miles underground. Neither do they have to be anywhere near where the tunnel entrance is.

Unintended consequence my ass. The U.S. could have taken Saddam and overthrown the current Iraq government and just replace it with another without overthrowing the whole power structure. That would have removed ISIS having been formed. And what would you have preferred, a government that kept backing the Shiite's or the Sunnis. And backing the Sunnis would have meant the place being run by Iran. Doesn't sound like a very good plan now, does it.

What is Iran going to do to us? Awaken their sleeper cells perhaps? I am sure there are plenty that walked across our Southern border over Biden's term. Ask yourself this question, imagine if these cells had access to small nukes? Would we be in better or worse shape than we are in now? Iran can't win a war with the US. We can pound them into submission without having boots on the ground. We aren't trying to take over the country. If they are smart, they will take these attacks in stride, much like a child getting punished for somethin they have been told repeatedly will not be tolerated. And for what? Iran has been working on nuclear weapons for years. So what. Would they use them on israel? Israel already has nuclear weapons. (Which they got from us) If Iran was to ever nuke israel, israel would just nuke them back. Neither side would win in that situation. So it all sounds like a B.S. distraction to me.

And here is a shining example as to how amazingly stupid Trump is. Criminally stupid if you ask me. (But with him already being a criminal, that's no surprise) What does Trump think he is going to do, bomb Iran into submission? Israel can't do that with Hamas in the tiny Gaza Strip. The U.S. could never do so in the much larger Iran. Also, we lost in Iraq. All we did was basically turn the country over to Iran and created ISIS. We also lost in Afghanistan. All we ended up doing was fund and arm the hell out of the Taliban.
