I've been thinking about this over the last several weeks as we continue talking about a US/Iran peace deal. I'm not really understanding why the deal has to include the Israel/Hezbollah situation. If the US is talking a peace deal with Iran, that has nothing to do with Israel and Hezbollah. It has to do with the US and Iran. Most of the leftists on here (and several on the right as well) think we are fighting for Israel and Trump is just marching to Benjamin Netanyahu's orders and that we should let Israel fight their own wars. So, if that is the case, why would we negotiate away Israel's opportunity and right to do just that - fight for themselves? I say any deal we reach with Iran is our deal only and has nothing to do with Israel. And, Iran should be doing the same thing, making a deal with the US. Why are they wanting to include Israel and Hezbollah? That has nothing to do with Iran, right?
