You're back? Masochist much?
There's no use spending money on a case you already know won't be heard. Right? Kinda duh...
And secondly, the Dems have backed themselves into a corner now, they no longer have a choice. They MUST undergo discovery, and if they withhold even one little piece of evidence the case will get thrown out.
They're fucked. There's no way this fog and pony show can survive the light. Now they're going to force the court to look at those 20,000 illegal late votes in AZ, whether they want to or not.
Section 3.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
It's a real wonder how Trump has always been able to find people stupid enough to volunteer to be disgraced, jailed, and/or disbarred for him.
/——-/ And democRATs waited until the elect cycle to persecute Trump.
/——/ And the Georgia DA flunkie dragged her feet…The Georgia investigation began on February 10, 2021.
The Fed Special counsel investigation began on November 18, 2022.
You sure have a very long view of the dates of an election cycle, I guess Trump can only be fairly investigated by Georgia during the 21 day window after leaving office, while the other 3 years + 334 days are off limits since part of the election cycle.
If you have any doubts about how long it takes to manage indictments of this scope, look no further than Trump's team requesting a 2026 trial date.
You're babbling. Try to stay on topic. And I followed the post I replied to well enough. All your babble about 'discovery' and "there's no way this fog and pony show can survive the light"....is you imagining evidence you don't have.
If imagination was evidence, Trump would still be president.
Good luck using your imagination as a legal standard.
Thank you for wasting a lot of time writing that.Well I can tell scruffy here has never cracked a law book or worked on a trial. What a lot of fanciful thinking that post is.
You have no understanding of the Discovery process at all. The case will only be dismissed if the Prosecution were to withhold EXCULPATORY evidence. They will always disclose the evidence they intend to use at trial. These people aren't amateurs. Furthermore, they will give Donald Trump absolutely no excuses upon which they can hang an Appeal.
I know you're accustomed to the legal shennigans and third rate hacks that are the only lawyers Trump can get to work for him, but Jack Smith is one of the most experienced and capable prosecutors in the world. Trump isn't the first former head of state Smith has prosecuted and he won't be the first head of state Smith has convicted.
Trump is totally fucked. His legal strategy has always been to use his wealth to drag out the legal process as long as possible until the other side runs out of money, or time to prosecute the case, and gives up. Every frivolous motion imaginable is filed. Every loss is appealed, until he runs out of appeals. See how he handled Democratic House oversight and kept his tax returns out of the hands of the oversight committee until he was nearly out of office.
But American judges are wise to Trump's game. His frivilous Motions are quickly dismissed, and his Appeals are being summarily dismissed. And this time, the "other side" is the largest law firm in the world, the US DOJ - with limitless resources at their disposal. Trump's defense team is advertising for student lawyers to volunteer for Trump's defense team.
There will be no evidence presented as to whether the election was stolen or not. That's irrelevant to the charges. Even if the election fraud was proven, the means Trump tried to use to overturn the election were illegal and constituted fraud, forgery, and an attack on the US Constitution.
In the meantime, Republican leaders are preparing to invoke the 14th Amendment to disqualify Trump from running for President. Section 3 reads.
Trump is disqualified on the basis of his Tweets to the insurrectionists, telling them that Mike Pence let them down. He's disqualified on the basis that he failed to send out the NG or any other assisstance to the Capitol Police even though his staff, Republican leaders in the House and Senate, and even members of his own family, begged him to call out the National Guard.
He doesn't even NEED to be convicted for this Amendment to apply.
Your experience in putting together a massive RICO investigation being.../——/ And the Georgia DA flunkie dragged her feet…
Barr, like Milley and many others were instantly moved from the "hero" column to the "traitor" column when they tapped out instead of following Trump's attempt at insurrection.Even though Bill Barr is now condemning Trump and saying he belongs in jail

Mr. Rivkin has been consistently ranked as one of the top international dispute resolution practitioners in the world. Chambers Global (2022) identified Mr. Rivkin as one of the top 10 international arbitration practitioners worldwide, describing him as “an extraordinarily bright, thoughtful and clear advocate.”
Mr. Rivkin frequently advised companies on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters and compliance. He is one of the principal authors of the firm’s ESG Resource Center and of the UN-commissioned report “UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights at 10.”
So your analysis that the DA dragged her feet in this investigation is based on:/----/ I have no experience,in RICO cases, because I'm not an attorney. /——/ My opinion is no less valid than yours. I’m just curious why you’re so bent out of shape and attacking a Constitutional law scholar. You completely dismissed what he said. Did you even listen to the video? So your analysis that the DA dragged her feet in this investigation is based on:
1. Your complete lack of experience with legal proceedings
2. Someone's opinion that he has immunity
That first proves my point, and the second isn't relevant to whether she was dragging her feet.
Are you kidding? Trump has been declaring his candidacy since the day he left the White House.Trump declared his candidacy to prevent his indictment. Who declares their candidacy 2 YEARS before the election.
Trump filed papers just so he could falsely claim "election interference".
Haha, relitigate?!?! He’s pretending like they even tried to litigate them before?! Remember all this attorneys that got disbarred for pushing lies about the election??Discovery baby! That's what the Deep State does not want. Jack Smith has just opened up a can of worms with his bogus indictment.
Trump Attorney John Lauro to FOX News: “We Will Re-litigate Every Single Issue in the 2020 Election”
Video in the link below. Brett Baier just got schooled by Trump's lawyer.
Trump Attorney John Lauro to FOX News: "We Will Re-litigate *Every Single Issue* in the 2020 Election" | The Gateway Pundit | by Brian Lupo
The indictment of President Trump yesterday by Special Prosecutor Jack Smith in Washington D.C.www.thegatewaypundit.com
The indictment of President Trump yesterday by Special Prosecutor Jack Smith in Washington D.C. revolves heavily around the unproven assertion that the 2020 Election was legitimate, free from fraud and that President Trump “knowingly” asserted “baseless claims” of election fraud.
President Trump’s team was constricted immensely by a ridiculously narrow window of just a few weeks to compile data from an obfuscated election system that was bolstered by unprecedented COVID-19 mail-in balloting rules put in place. It was reminiscent of the Wild, Wild West. And still, cases were brought, and quickly dismissed, typically using procedural justifications such as “standing” or “laches” before any evidentiary hearings or discovery was permitted.
The Gateway Pundit has documented numerous examples of unresolved issues and concerns from USPS employees appearing to stuff piles of ballots into drop boxes in Michigan, to two 4am deliveries in the backdoor of the TCF Center in Detroit, more than 20,000 ballots delivered after the deadline in Maricopa County, the mysterious disappearance of Jesse Morgan’s USPS trailer that he claims contained around 250,000 filled out mail-in ballots transported from NJ to PA, and “erroneous code” being found on almost every Georgia county who’s system log files were analyzed. And that’s a few examples with many, many more documented.
In fact, just yesterday The Gateway Pundit published a report from Erich Speckin, a 20-year veteran contractor with the State of Michigan who investigated the 2020 Election AVCB ballots in Detroit and found there could be upwards of 35,000 illegal ballots.
Now, given the wording and accusations levied in the indictment against President Trump, one of his attorneys, John Lauro, weighed on FOX News with Brett Baier:
So your “experts” are saying that Trump can’t run for president because he has been ACCUSED of trying to overthrow the election. Sorry, but there is a little thing call the presumption of innocence. Being accused of a crime doesn’t mean you are guilty, a lot of people get accused and indicted for crimes and are found not guilty in a court room. This guy is no "highly respected Constitutional law scholar". He's was high priced litigation specialist, and he is a right wing legal commentary, and the kind of guy who will say whatever his client hires him to say. I'd definitely hire this guy to sue somebody - Advocate of the year!!!! His biography claims no expertise whatsoever in Consitiutional law. The word "Constitution" isn't even mentioned in his biography. From his own biography:

Dr. Lawrence Tribe, one of the most cited Constitutional Scholars in America and a retired Constitutional law professor from Harvard, recently published an article saying that Trump is disqualifed from running for President under the 14th Amendement.
His co-author is also a REAL highly respected Constitutional law scholar. Judge J. Michael Luttig - the guy who advised VP Pence that he had no Constitutional authority to do what Trump told him to do.
The Constitution Prohibits Trump From Ever Being President Again
The only question is whether American citizens today can uphold that commitment.www.theatlantic.com
