However he did, he ran in 2000. A short lived campaign true. But it shows how he was think about a political run 25 years ago.

The FEC link below shows him particpating in some early primaries. Ahhhh - you have to be a candidate to be in the primary. Now don't confusion "candidate" with "nominee" - those are two different things.
