Trump Admits War in Iran is not for America

I wonder how he managed to spin it in his head that he's helping China.

Well Trump himself said in that video discussion in th OP that he told Xi that he was helping him by going into Iran for the benefit of that list of other countries that America wasn't included in.

He admittedly did acknowledge that ''We don't need it,'' however.

I think he mentioned something about selling America to China, however. That's what I saw on my tv when I was looking for the lottery jackpot anyway.

So much different to help allies than helping Afghanistan, Ukraine, etc. eh? Run along, moron, you lack common sense.

You didn't much care while the democrats have been selling the country down the river. Your faux concern now is disingenuous. You're concerned for your globalist party and not in the least for the US.
CA , i don't know what metric may apply, but it would appear China is now more an 'ally' than Israel

love him or hate him, Trump did a stroke of biz w/China Natty

I'm sure that's painted him every bit a traitor as it did when he met w/Putin

Most of what we see is msm speculation and presentation of points that they feel will promote their agenda. None of us, congress included have a clue as to what any admin is planning or the intel they have that prompts their actions. I know that, given the opportunity to complete his agenda, Trump has been somewhat successful. I am more of one to take a 'wait and see' approach. I would like to see compromise and true concern for the future of the country over party by the left---it might even give us something to cheer for a change.

Clearly never was an America first President. Heck, he didn;t even add America into the equation here at all. Not even the courtesy of last.

"We don't need it at all...we're doing it to help Israel—and to help Saudi Arabia, and to help Qatar and UAE, and you know, Kuwait, and other countries, Bahrain."

Even admits to doing this to help China.

"I told him (Xi) today, you know, we're helping you...''

Before it's over I think he'll likely have tried to have us all living in a kibbutz (kibbutzim began as utopian communities, a combination of socialism and Zionism) and working Chinese farms on what used to be our own soil for a day's worth of lo mein.

I'm just glad that the traitorous guy will be gone in two years. lol.

I still gag whenever I recall him openly stating that israel should ''rightfully hold power over the American congress'' while professing his disbelief in the notion that it would ever lose any of that aquired power over it.

Think I posted that video around here some place a couple of times.

And having a neutered Iran and strong and stable Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and Kuwait and Bahrain - the whole Middle East is good for America

Hm. Anyway, I'm trying to think how to broaden dialogue here to kind of touch on everything.

Im certainly not the smartest feller in the world by any means, but I'm sure I could add on if I thuink hard enough. :)

Will I? I dunno. Perhaps I'll wait to see how much interest the thread generates.

I rarely start threads any more. Depends on my mood...

So average Americans should get a second and third job to pay for the president's openly stated help Israel first followed by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and you know, Kuwait, Bahrain and China policy?

Is that what you're contending?

Under Obama I had to get 2 jobs, then go back to school, to make enough money to live. Nobody seemed to give a **** back then.

Under Trump, I got a 45% pay raise within 6 months of him taking office.

Likely he sees the benefit to America buy having allies in the ME rather than the EU.

I've often read that Israel wanted America out of the middle east for objection to America having muslim allies there.

Of course, that seems to sometimes be a temporarily change of view, depending on if they're the primary beneficiary of American intervention at a given moment in time.

It's interesting. Thanks for bringing that point up.

I live in a blue state Natty.....i've been politically involved for quite some time locally......what does one call the construct of governance when they have control over your land, your farms, your businesses, even your children....and tax the daylights out of you to do so ......?

Yeah, i'm sure you get it.....you don't miss much....

Most of what's going down here is flat out unconstitutional.....unAmerican......and that's just MY turf......what goes down i DC is simply a f**k story of selling us all on out

That said, our lovely Gub'mit is spending $1.33 of every $1.00 it takes in

A Boy scout with an abacus could foresee how that math will work out.....

All conflict has economic motives......i'm sure i'm preachin' to choir here....

Yeah, pretty much. The debt has finally topped 100% of the GDP. The debt is certainly the biggest threat to our national sucurity, but for whatever reason, they want us to look the other way. In that regard, Iran seems to be the most convenient distraction to invoke whenever concern for national security comes into play, predictably.

I, too, live a blue state, btw. Was planning on relocating before I got hit with the big C.

I fail to see much meaningful difference at that level of politics when it comes to red helmets vs blue helmets, though. Democracy itself was weaponized to function as a useful utility against the electorate a long, long time ago...

Yes he's done a fair job of putting Iran in it's place CA

He's convinced Xi to stop arming them, but can't convince Israel to stop bombing for the sake of any peace agreement (more like unconditional surrender )

Israel.....a country that would not exist w/out the USofA......our 'ally' , which i'd define as a two way street seems all one way
