Those of you who oppose Trumps solution to the Iran problem post your solutions here

I read the book sir, and I wasn't born last night. The Zionists are notorious liars. It's not a wise thing to buy into the narratives of notorious liars. Plus, I know how the US Navy operates. Loose lips sink ships you know....
The ship didnt belong there the captain was negligent and no one even cares about this except the rodent Jew haters who just dont matter

The leftist solution is to pour money at Iranian tyrants and join them.

They don’t see Iranian supreme leaders or govt as a problem that needs solving, but one to model ourselves after

I won't try and speak for either the left or the right but I see you are speaking for the lunatic party. I happen to be a conservative and see you as a complete homicidal maniac if we allowed you to be.

First lets state the problem
Iran has an offensive nuclear bomb program
Main sponsor of terror by use of proxies to destabilize the Middle east
Killed over 1000 Americans
Murdered 32000 of its own citizens
Funds Hamas Hezbollah and the Houthis terror
Intends to dominate the Middle East under one government them
Military Action Against Israel and Arab States
  • Direct Assaults: Iran has launched hundreds of ballistic missiles and suicide drones, targeting major population centers and infrastructure in Israel, including the city of Beit Shemesh and areas near Tel Aviv and Haifa.
  • Targeting Regional Allies: Iran has attacked nations across the Gulf, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, in response to their perceived support for the U.S.-Israel actions. These attacks have struck civilian areas, including hotels in Dubai and near Kuwait International Airport.
  • Maritime Threats: Iran has targeted shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, causing severe disruptions to vital trade routes.
  • Casualties: Reports indicate that Iranian strikes have resulted in at least 12 deaths in Israel and numerous casualties across the Gulf states.
    American Jewish Committee (AJC) +3
Targeting U.S. Interests
  • Attacks on Bases: Iran has targeted U.S. military facilities across the Middle East, including the Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, and bases in Qatar and Kuwait.
  • Retaliatory Stance: Iranian officials have declared that all U.S. military bases and assets in the region are "legitimate targets" in response to the U.S.-Israeli strikes.
    American Jewish Committee (AJC) +1
Long-Standing Aggression and Strategic Goals
  • Nuclear Ambitions: Despite the ongoing, direct conflict, the overarching driver of tension has been Iran's sustained pursuit of nuclear technology, which the U.S. and Israel have sought to dismantle.
  • Proxy Warfare: Iran has long utilized a network of armed groups—including Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas, and the Houthis in Yemen—to project power and destabilize the region.
  • Support for Russia: Iran has provided tens of thousands of suicide drones to Russia for use in its war against Ukraine.
    American Jewish Committee (AJC)

Now what is your solution

False question. Trump hasn't solved shit.

It’s not surprising that comment makes to deflect like that

Trump Declares Iran War Over

"Since the killing of Khamenei on February 28, the following 18 countries have become involved in the war:

  • Azerbaijan: Iranian Shahed drones struck Razzi (Nakhchivan) International Airport and nearby infrastructure on March 4, injuring 4 civilians.
  • Bahrain: Iran/proxies hit a hotel and residential buildings in Manama with drones/missiles; U.S. Naval Support Activity Bahrain hosted forces intercepted some.
  • Cyprus: Hezbollah-linked drones struck RAF Akrotiri base on March 1, damaging runways; UK responded, drawing EU/NATO focus.
  • Greece: Deployed FDI frigates and F-16s to defend Cyprus post-Akrotiri; hosts U.S. forces at Souda Bay.
  • Iran: Central belligerent; struck by U.S./Israeli airstrikes on nuclear sites, IRGC bases, and fuel depots since Feb 28.
  • Iraq: Iranian missiles/drones hit U.S. positions and Kurdish areas (e.g., Erbil); Iran-aligned militias attempted to storm U.S. Embassy Green Zone in Baghdad.
  • Israel: Central belligerent; launched initial strikes on Iran, faced Hezbollah rocket/missile barrages.
  • Jordan: Iranian ballistic missiles/drones struck U.S. radar bases; Jordanian defenses intercepted others.
  • Kuwait: Early Iranian drone/missile strikes hit Kuwait International Airport fuel tanks and government facilities (e.g., towers), causing fires; site of first 6 U.S. combat deaths in a drone strike on a port/makeshift base.
  • Lebanon: Hezbollah fired rocket/missile/drone salvos at Israel; Israel responded with airstrikes nationwide and renewed southern ground incursion.
  • Oman: Iranian missiles/drones targeted a port and shadow tanker in Gulf of Oman; Muscat mediates while denying full involvement; Iran claims false-flag.
  • Qatar: Drones struck major LNG facilities halting output; Qatari jets intercepted Iranian aircraft.
  • Saudi Arabia: Intercepted Iranian ballistic missiles/drones targeting Riyadh diplomatic quarter.
  • Sri Lanka: U.S. submarine torpedoed Iranian navy warship (likely frigate) off coast in Indian Ocean, killing ~87.
  • Syria: Israeli airstrikes on IRGC/militia assets (e.g., fuel supplies, logistics to Lebanon).
  • Turkey: Blocked airspace for anti-Iran strikes; NATO intercepted Iranian ballistic missiles near/over territory (e.g., March 4 Mediterranean). Condemned Azerbaijan attack, sent 6 F-16s to Northern Cyprus.
  • United Arab Emirates: Hit with missiles/drones on Dubai, data centers.
  • United States: Central belligerent with 7 troops KIA and around 140 injured."

Those countries should declare war, not the US. We are 7,500 miles away. Trump's bros: Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel, are the ones in range. Yet we are fighting their war.

The US and Israel carried out unprovoked attacks that Iran is defending itself from according to the UN Charter.

Arab states that ally themselves with the US deserve to share the consequences.

The year was 1967 sir, not today.

What aircraft is doing today could already be done in 1967. The range without all the toys and whistles for a ship was 250 miles (apprx). That is about 200 miles past line of sight. The WWII version of the USS NJ for it's 16 in guns was about 26 miles. That's 6 miles past the line of sight. And a Bomber can see one hell of a lot longer at 40,000 feet. Way past line of sight.

You seem to be using 1947 methods. Even so, when the Iowa class BB came out, it had more than line of sight. This is the reason that when when two apposing BBs fought, the Iowa Class would almost always win.

The new Ayahollah said the Strait of Hormuz would be closed until the war is over and that their neighbors must remove all US bases.
