Trump about to cave: Democrats headed to total victory on Obamacare Subsidies!

This one is very being cautious not to talk about subsidies. That’s the only way to be pissed and not contradict Trump at the same time.

Dude I'm pointing out the obvious. You're nowhere near being a conservative.

Everyone knows it, you should stop looking ridiculous

AI Overview

The success of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is measured by its significant expansion of health insurance coverage, particularly through Medicaid expansion and marketplace subsidies, leading to historically low uninsured rates. Key successes include protecting people with pre-existing conditions, mandating coverage for essential health benefits, and providing access to preventive services. Despite these achievements, ongoing challenges include threats of policy changes and cuts to funding that could reverse gains, as well as its impact on some healthcare costs.

Key successes
    • Expanded coverage:
The ACA led to one of the largest expansions of health coverage in U.S. history, with the uninsured rate dropping significantly. By 2023, the uninsured rate for those aged 0-64 was at a historic low of 9.5%, a decrease from 16% in 2010.
    • Medicaid expansion:
Expanding Medicaid has been particularly effective in states that have adopted it, helping millions of lower-income individuals gain coverage and reducing racial and ethnic insurance gaps.
    • Marketplace subsidies:
The creation of health insurance exchanges with financial assistance has provided affordable options for individuals and families who don't have access to employer-sponsored insurance.
    • Consumer protections:
The ACA protects people with pre-existing conditions from being denied coverage or charged more for it. It also guarantees coverage for essential health benefits and allows young adults to stay on their parents' plans until age 26.
    • Preventive services:
The law requires most plans to cover evidence-based preventive services with no out-of-pocket costs.
Challenges and ongoing issues
    • Funding and policy threats:
Despite its success, the ACA has faced political challenges, including proposed changes that could reduce federal funding, increase uninsured rates, and undo its protections.
    • Impact on costs:
While the ACA has had some success in controlling overall healthcare cost growth compared to projections, the impact on specific cost metrics is still being evaluated, and some argue for better cost control strategies.

Sassy seeks to put down rumors that he won’t talk about subsidies by…. Not talking about subsidies. At least you’re consistent.

You mad bro?

He's not a conservative. That's established
I know.

But I'm a bit bored and a bit procrastinating. I should be busy learning SolidWorks, but I'm wasting time here.

I've been doing a lot of that this year, and maybe it's time I stopped it.

Cheap platitudes. Prices are thru the roof......health insurance is thru the roof.....nothing but a demonstrable failure

15th post
BTW I didn't need health insurance....now I have a $50 copay just for a DR's visit...who knows what the total cost is.

A lesson on ObummerCare, way back when it was passed my husband's firm's associates paid nothing for great healthcare as a benefit That ended quickly, the cost was overwhelming for the firm and it had to be passed down. Now they pay an astronomic premium with high deductibles.... while a certain "faction" reaps the benefits
