Just to let you know I had a Trojan blocked and deleted while logging on to USMB yesterday. Clean it up.
 
Its the google ads, I get those all the time, they try and get into your system.

Just take it off and throw it away. Try again with a different brand.

Use firefox with the adblock add-on, stop letting web adverts leech your resources.
Works for me. Sometimes I hear the first bit of those audiomercials, but the rest is silenced...and the pop-up is never seen.

I've never seen a peep or even a hint of anything at all from adverts.

Which filter are you subscribed to?

I couldn't tell you. My IT guy put it on my laptop and my netbook. I use Firefox almost all the time.

Yep. Firefox will block almost anything. So far, anyway.:lol:

TROJ_FAKEAV.SM <From Trend...The location of the Trojan pointed right at Google according to my log. The link describes the virus. It cannot be quarantined. It has to be deleted.

It looks like a stop sign and it says 'ABP' on it

It it's not showing, go tools-->addons -->AdBlock Plus and make sure it's set to display

then

right-click on your toolbar and select 'customize'. Drag the ABP icon to the toolbar of your choice
